What type birthday present would you like for 7th anniversary?

If they're doing tonics again this year, I'd like to see an EL Black Moa Chick and Gwen Doll tonic that can be used in both outposts and explorable areas. The idea of a small fur-ball and a Gwen Doll killing everything around them makes me laugh more than it should.
June Bug
Agreed, the Gwen Doll tonic is something I've been wanting since April 1st, 2009. :P
StormDragonZ
Now that I think about it:
- Give me +5 max energy and +10 health permanently for such character.

I don't think there will be a Gwen Doll tonic usable in explorable. Kids attacked and killed in a T rated game? Not gonna happen.

Commerative green weapons for PvE only with completely unique mods
Burning bowstring
Hexes last 20% longer stave
Shouts last 20% longer spear
Unconditional +1 energy regen daggers
Unconditional 10% armor penetration sword
etc....
Sure it will break PvE, but who cares at this point.

How bout a substance type thing ( basically a dye lol)that you can apply to you armor that makes you look on fire, glow, ghostly, made of stone, etc.etc but it applys to you whole armor, not just one piece.

Bring back divine aura for everyone

Something, anything, more creative than tonics or mini's. I hope to be surprised by a team that can make such good in game things.
Ayuhmii Shanbwa
hey, thats not a bad idea, but it would either be account wise, or char wise
and i know that the aura is account wise normally, so would change it to char wise for those who reached 7 years old with chars, or let every 7 years old account have it
would also be fun to choose between mini and tonic.... and maybe something new
like a birthday npc which has your char's latest bday pres, but you can choose between "miniature present" or "tonic present" and maybe a "special present" or the "divine aura"
special present has something new, but random
* hey, that npc would be handy for future gifts, in case you have full bags, or dont want to recieve your gifts yet

I really like this idea but green would have to be Devona - wielding a sword like she did in the original prophecies video.

1-5 we got minis,
6th we got tonics.
A mix of those is good, imo we dont need to change it alot.
And why make it costumized? I had to restart an new account 1 year after i bought my old one, so that means i "have" played 7 years, but my account only 6...
Saint Scarlet
Might not fit but how about giving us tonics/minipets of GW2 main chars like Logan, Rytlock, Queen Jennah and Morgus Lethe.

wait a minute.... GW2 gets minipet cat, maybe we get some non-GW related minis too?
or more ranger pets
could be for bday, but also for normal GW stuff

However, if we could forgo presents altogether in return for some or all of the following, that would be terrific:
Inscription/Mod NPC - so we can finally have a regular and reliable source to fully outfit our weapons and off-hands. Make it so the NPC can only offer the inscriptions and mods you have unlocked on your account unless you pay him a set amount of gold to unlock the tiers you need.
Mini-Pet Maker - in the same vein as the festival hat maker. You give him an undedicated mini and he keeps a copy in storage for retrieval by any character on your account for a nominal fee. These minis gotten by the NPC would come customized to your character so they would not be usable by other players, but still can be dedicated at your HoM.
Implement a Token system in the in-game store, and create NPCs in game that would collect Tokens for a variety of objects such as:
Mini-pets, festival hats, uniquely skinned weapons and armor sets, et al.
Finally, put the Mercenary Heroes on sale in the in-game store, so I can finally justify buying the full set.

I don't care what it is as long as its not more shitty tonics. The game looks like a circus as is. Don't need to add more to it.

so plz do something better, more unique or mini's again

Tonics are just played out. I remember when I was raptor farming constantly to save up for a Phantasmal tonic and it was like the greatest thing ever, now it's just out of control.
Please ANET, something new.

I wouldn't mind more everlasting tonics - there are a couple more good ones which they could still do perhaps - e.g. Everlasting Lich, Everlasting Reiko etc.

Since this is the last birthday celebration before the launch of Guild Wars 2 I'd like to see them blow their art budget for the year on the anniversary instead of Halloween/Wintersday/GWB (lol at the possibility of Canthan festivals getting some love). Give us heritage armour as a costume to buy so we can all join in the celebration whether our character is one or seven years old. For the presents I reckon they should make a weapon set. That would give enough variety for people who want to collect them all and it's something useful and new which would be valuable. I never cared for minis, I don't understand why people like them over tonics which seemed much cooler. I guess I just like NPC armour much more than most player armour (no sin combination can come close to being as cool as Anton despite being unable to change the face).

For people who have been playing for 7 years they should get something elite, but cannot be traded ( to stop market inflation etc ) like 7 years is along time in a game that started losing its main player base like 4 years ago.
Maybe for the 7th year, the player gets to decide what mini they want, they can pick 1 mini from every mini ever introduced to the game ( but it cannot be traded ) cause i personally would love a Mini Kanaxai but these where never made available to Europe/US players unless they bought them from someone who got them in Asia.

I would like an everlasting vizu tonic as the green tonic for 7 years of guild wars( that ghostly one like there was in brawling earlier this year or end of 2011).

become items, like you become a non-overpowered npc (like ettins and such) in battles, and use their skills
see yourself fighting as an ettin or yeti
hmm, i think it may be better to get for anyone somehow, but its an idea
lets see, what about....
monster masks?
masks you can wear anywhere like festival hats, from any enemy in GW (green being dhuum)

I think I'm done even checking in on my gifts in GW1.

Minis with Boss glows
Do all the years same gifts over but all the minis have a boss glow. Then the tonics on the 14th.

Everlasting tonics which can be use in explorable areas was a cool idea, only disliked that it was mostly heroes forms. Transformations from mysterious tonic are cooler. I'd love to fight in Tyria as a Snow beast, a Hellhound, or a Drider.
thelessa
EL Mysterious Tonic, or EL Npc's from Prophecies starting area, if they do EL Tonics again. All can be used in town and explorable areas.
drkn
Tonics that would customise your appearance (as in: may change your gender, hairstyle, skin tone etc) for its duration might be cool. It would be all randomised, with no way to predict or keep the outcome, thus wouldn't have any impact on the store's makeover option, while actually promoting it ('damn, that random appearance i just got is so cool i have to make it permanent!'). Others might also customise armour parts and colours, only for the time being of course - that would diminish the show-off value of obsidian/vabbian sets even further but... who cares?
Also Wonderland-based tonics that would make your character smaller/bigger for some time - not as small as minipets, but like half the original size, or twice as big.
