Anniversary Updates

- Made preparations for the Guild Wars 7th anniversary celebration.

- Elite Xunlai Bakery Agents, flush with pride after their careful placement of sprinkles, have assumed control of Birthday Cupcake distribution and are en route to their party destinations.

- Ceira, Sworn to Fire, has returned from another expedition bearing gifts from the gods: Hounds of Balthazar Ranger pets for all who visit her in Embark Beach during the celebration.

It seems that the Hounds of Balthazar is in the menagerie for 20 gold coins. I'm not sure though as i don't have 20 to spare

Hold off on buying it. It only exists as a purchasable option for people that miss the Anniversary. Ceira will be handing them out for free during the event once it starts.

i hope the hounds stay after the celebration (in the menagerie), as alot of people have work the whole week, and can only play in weekends, and not everyone has the z coins to get it

i myself have only 2 or 3 good enough chars to do some HM Z quests

i'd like to get it now, as i can wait with the panda, as i MAY get it from lockboxes, and can always get it after it, if the hounds disappear from the menagerie

i wonder what we have to do to get em in embark, hope its something nice, and not too challenging.... sigh, i can dream, but it wont help

Got to admire this dev team's ability to add things that hardly have a practical use...

Looks cool... but what build enthusiast uses pets often?

and you got to have it in embark.... otherwise it might make that location look like a total waste of time.

You can unlock the pet in Embark Beach right now. I got mine. You can find it in the menagerie after unlocking it in NE cave next to lava pit.

EDIT2: i hope this is no goodbye party for GW, not in a way that GW will get no support except for skill balances, events and being online

anyway, very nice to give so much, even though its mostly meant for those who'll get titles for HoM (i dont, i just keep playing GW)

This isnt fair. I also wanted to max my consumable titles before GW2 and spend the whole birthday event farming ... but this weekend is also the open GW2 beta!

Why do the GW2 beta and GW1 birthday events have to happen at the same time????

The birthday is a lot longer than the gw2 beta. You could farm now untill the weekend and get your titles maxed from the looks of the drops...
