Duping its back...

Miniatures are not stackables.

I'd dare suggest that any item can be duped but they come out customized afterwards so only items that still work after being customized are worth duping.

i know so much because i checked the links which the other guy posted and at the screen someone wrote weapons cant be duped.
you should check what people wrote before before you make those shitty commants...just want to help lol

oppressors(war supplies) and armbraces should see a steep drop then as they can be traded in for stuff.

Looks like minis appear ded after the duping process. logic says that they would focus on duping crafting materials and minis as the mats can be sold to trader for cash which is then used to buy legit ecto, and minis are sold for legit armbraces.

Ambraces and zkeys cannot be sold to crafter so there is no point duping them. Sapphires and ecto is likely being duped and sold to crafter though, someone got greedy and wanted to sell higher to players and this is how the public realised. That plus the firesale mini prices of panda/vizu/IG for 100-200a

you can use zkeys to open the chest, which will lead to the decrease in value of several rare weapons and tonics.

Yes, good point. Zrank, crysts and VS are going to tumble in price. Also armbraces can be traded for tomented weps, but there's easier way of making money out of this than spamming 100+tormented weapons I guess.

I'm curious how a new account brings nothing to the table, but tries discredit ekto after posting pics of dupes. Seems duplorious (sp).

Good point on zkeys, guess we should fear strongboxes / travelers gifts and all of that stuff as well then.

Consider the following - players are selling stuff to raise funds for 9 rings - and we all know what its like in jan sales - players can buy quite alot of stuff cheap and then what happens is the clever ones ( powertraders etc ) wait then prices slowly rise and they decide to sell then.
When markets saturated it can take a while to recover .
Ive heard several guildies say that they gonna keep all the event items they have farmed and sell a week later - which is something alot of players do ( heck i got golden eggs from 2 years ago still in my storage ).
Also consider that there were alot of bonuses going on and alot of players were rushing to get hom sorted - quite a few of my friends were rushing around getting their weapons and armor and recall vabbi armor uses quite a few rare mats.
I can easily say i knew 10 ppl who would usually farm and from that 10 i can say 6 of them didnt do any farming that they would normally do - eg feathers and were mostly afk on 9 rings.
Events can make farming less appealing - some do believe that event drops lessen the chances of certain drops - some of us avoid uw on events as we see a decline in the amount dropped but thats unproven but does show how things can slow down.
This really does sound like the annoying "uw is nerfed as i got no ectos this run" - market prices drop and sellers cry out and buyers are happy.

LOL, this game is so done.

None of that makes sense and there are pics of the duped sapphires so we know why the prices have dropped after the event.

How do we be careful? Just check to see if it was customized?

Also are we not supposed to buy any ded minis anymore?

Any buyer would have no way of knowing if the item they are buying was duped or not.

Edit: Also Anet should tell us what's in the 7th yr bday presents now. Just so we know if the minis we are buying could've came form the 7th yr presnts if they weren't duped.

not only that if people decided to merch mats for nine rings the prices would have dropped at the start of the event not yesterday lol.

@ above, its your choice whether you want to buy duped minis or not, because they are pretty much worthless now, within a day you will see several minis floating under the 100e mark easily if the dupe isn't stopped right now, its common sense.

if you wanna collect all these 'high' end minis than this is probably your best chance, but as i said they are meaningless.

Now u guys mention it, I have seen same seller coming with 7 oni unded, 7 ghostly hero unded and another with 5 ded pandas ... I mean, it's possible theoretically, but .... Highly unusual

7th year gifts are stackable and those are the supposedly asian mini gifts... There could flood of minis and rock candies. Wik stuff. Woc stuff including super candy, booze, and party.... It's all going to hell in a handbasket. So glad I stayed up for this.

Sapphs dropped 2k in since the 2st screen here and ruby is still at 8,5...

I wouldn't buy or sell anything until this has been solved. Duped miniatures will go poof, people will get banned.

Also according to the screens in the link, you can supposedly also do this without having the item customized.

In simple terms what you should do is log off, enjoy the weekend and buy Diablo 3 at a midnight release in a few days. Enjoy that while GW gets destroyed

Or the market is crashing because insanly rich people bought as much of 1 item as they could and sold as a joke to the community...

just fyi, if you want a REAL piece of gw history start buying oldschool weapons that don't drop anymore.
