The ones I've opened have been purple birthdays. Some friends opened several and they were all purple and gold birthdays.

Naga = Confirmed
Zhed = Reported but unconfirmed
Shirokin = Reported but unconfirmed
Vizu = Reported but unconfirmed
All the others are unlikely or else we would have seen more. The possibility is open though since it took us so long to find a purple asian mini.
Zhed, Shirokin and Vizu have dropped quite a bit in price and there seems to be more in circulation which adds to the evidence that they probably drop from 7th birthday presents.

The naga screenshot is somewhat doubtful, only because you cannot see text in the chat log above receiving the mini. They could've just as easily gotten it in trade. But, since oni is pretty well confirmed, I wouldn't rule out naga and others either. Somehow I doubt Kanaxai and panda would end up in the pool but who knows, I don't think there's enough 7th birthday gifts circulating to research it.

I would find it strange if all miniatures that came from raffles wouldn't drop drop from 7th year presents. At least those that came from the same raffles.
Having just two of them won't make any sense, it's not consistent.

I believe this thread is mainly focused on discovering the "unknown" about the 7th birthday presents. So I hope I don't wander to far off-topic, but maybe predicting the future helps solves the current mystery?
Just randomly thinking here, but what will Anet do about 8th year, 9th year birthdays and so on? Either the GW2 crisis is over and they create new content for the coming years, recycle some more minis (adding IG, Panda, etc if not already dropping this year or possibly going after other in-game rares like Wik and WoC minis), or completely shut the birthday reward system off.
Any chance GW2 is not a financial success due to the significant changes and Anet adds more content, expansions, etc to GW to keep making money? I guess I am saying they may have held back some of the rare minis for future years / options...

I think the only one not included is the Kanaxai. I think all the other ones pondered upon in this thread are in the 7th year boxes. With that said, the best way to make money on the 7th Year GIfts is to sell them unopened. The chance is way too low to actually make money on them for as many as you would need to open to cover the expense of buying one. Even so, gambling fake money in a virtual economy is fun, because fake money doesn't mean a thing. So open away!

That doesn't help, ancalagon - we need screenshots showing "you received miniature shiro'ken assassin" in the chat window. Just showing a mini in a trade window does not constitute proof.

The Vizu+Shiro'ken screens don't rly prove anything... it's just a screenshot of a mini Vizu and a mini Shiro'ken that's it lol...
The Zhed screenie looks somewhat legit tho.
Anyway the drop rate seems to be INSANELY low so it won't affect economy much if at all. What is driving prices down atm and why people are seeing alot of rare minis up for sale in Kamadan and on Guru is because 7th year rare mini drop rate was still uncertain and some people out there thought that duped minis bought in good faith might still be deleted(which is obviously not the case).
I also certainly doubt Panda, IG, Kanaxai will be dropping at all.

On the other hand, I haven't seen ANY unded for sale recently, only ded. So unless they're dedding them, then selling, it seems doubtful they drop form 7th gifts.
And what about Yeti? Oni and Naga are already out there so I don't think anyone would have a problem letting us know they recieved a Yeti. And again, I think I've only seen 1 Unded Yeti being sold this past month.
Maybe 8th Yrs will be only Gold and Green Minis from the first 5 Years, and also include these:
Purple: Yeti, Grawl
Gold: Panda, Island Guardian
Green: Kanaxai
Which would follow the same pattern as this year. But then again who knows?
And as far as Polar - I'm sure it's possible but seems unlikely if you compare the way the minis have been given out in the past. Oni, Naga, Vizu, Shiroken, ZHed were all given out in a similar manner i.e., lucky draw, random contests, massive mini giveaway, etc.

I really don't understand the hate of inscriptions. It makes OS weapons more valuable, and let's those who can't afford/find weapons with inherent desirable mods to make them easily. Rich people get to enjoy their elitism, poorer and/or more pragmatic people get to enjoy weapon modularity. Why the fuss?
