not me! still thinking that the game punishes the leader with bad drops....

still have some of what we missed last time around to get to as well (last day dawns etc). so yeah, doing non-linear stuff would be fine with me.

guess we need to get another thread going for that again (would love to do uw/fow or urgoz/deep with a group again)....now that school is on again peeps may have a more set schedule now.

Besides the major botting problem that has overflow our game.
I'd like too see a diffrent change, aswell too party system and AI.

Lore Master Title : Complete all quests in each campaign

Lore Master of Tyria
Lore Master of Cantha
Lore Master of Elona
Lore Master of The North
Legendary Lore Master (all campaigns completed)

Increase party capacity for all 8 man party's too 10 while HM is enabled. (4 to 6, 6 to 8, 12 to 14 in Deep/Urgoz)

Increase its enemy difficulty in HM by 30% (armor/attribute's/health)

Increase amount of hero flags on compass, for full party controll

Improve hero/henchman AI if they are flagged in AoE (not run in circles within the AoE, but run out of the flagged area too counter AoE and continue spellcasting/attacking)

Make Zaishen Keys bound too account, or untradeable.

Improve the Ranger Pet system by implying the same AI improvements for Heros/Henchman.

Improve Melee AI not too wander around aimlessly while taking "too much damage", but only untill they reach a critical point like 10-20% Health

Give Ranger Pets a special skill bar that enables them too carry and use 2 extra Beast Mastery only skills (shouts/attacks only)

Increase Ranger Pet Armor & Damage by 1% per attribute point in Beast Mastery (PvE only)

Increase all health by enemies classified as "Boss" by additional 20% (Stacks with +30% from HM change) too make boss fights feel like you're fighting against a boss instead of a enemy with just an aura. ( including Mallyx, Dhuum, Rotscale, Duncan and random zone Bosses)

Increase standard armor cost per piece too 5k,elite to 40k per piece, Vabbian to 25k, to make it feel more special and have too put more effort into obtaining a set. (Includes FoW Armor.)

Increase amount of Asuran Summons per player from 1 to 2/3.

While we're doing the wishing game (before topic is closed), how about

* Compass have one additional "flag last formation", which is same relative formation you had since you clicked Clear flag. Instantly flag your front/mid/backline with one click or hotkey.
* Even if you only have 3 flags to flag your heroes, you should be able to choose which heroes, or even henchmen. Something like this:

* XHM mode (Extra Hard Mode), where foes gets harder, certain immunity to conditions, and loot quality increase.
* Change Beast Mastery so at rank 8, you can bring an extra pet, and at rank 15, you can bring 3 pets. Charm Animal will charm an animal as long as you have room, and pet attacks affect all pets.
* Divine Favor have a 0..25% chance of rezzing an ally within range each time you use a Divine Favor skill.
* Strength have a 0..10% chance of causing a knock down each time you use an attack skill.

just a note about that lore master title---you cant do all the quests in any of the campaigns because many of the starter ones are profession specific (and some to primary profession only as well).....so change that to all quests available to all characters of all professions (there are some low level quests that only prophecies characters can do etc) from all campaigns.

as for changes....I just wish my heroes/henchies wouldnt crowd me so much---eg when you are just standing there they are almost on top of you so that if say fire storm is dropped on you ALL of them are within its range, however; if you drop it on the enemy mob almost NONE of them are standing close enough together to get more than 1 or 2 in its range. I want THAT range for my h/h.

@Zephyr: The Loremaster Title is interesting, I like it. The rest of your suggestions seem terrible however. No offense, but you don't seem to grab how the balance works in this game. You can't just tune Health/Damage freely. I'm also really glad that GW usually doesn't have the stupid bosses of other MMOs which just means a huge blob of life. More life only means it takes longer to kill, it doesn't make the fight any more interesting but more tedious instead. That standard Armor only costs 1P is on purpose. GW is not about grinding to get your gear going. That is a thing to stay. For Elite Armos I may agree with you but you have to consider the amount of money new players have. It's a huge change for them while people like us wouldn't even feels the difference, so I feel it's the wrong way.

As for hero changes: I against everything that makes it easier without player interaction, like better AI or flagging mutiple heroes intelligently at once. Flag your heroes out of the AoE yourself.

@Bristlebane: The extra HM Mode seems interesting. I would like to see many things that bring the balance of builds back to what was the original intention. E.G. give enough monsters the ability to counter the likes of shadow form etc.

For the chance thingies: Only for PvE please. PvP would get hurt by that pretty hard.

i had in mind a certain kind of spawning quest
what about this:
we get a new quest in proph, factions, NF and eotn called "Hard Mode Adventures"
basically changed most enemies alot, like giving them monster skills which work as pve only skills, more elites on same bad, and some would have even higher attribute ranks..... and of course more health and armor than in normal HM

there are 2 versions of this quest:
1. NM's "Hard Mode Adventures"
2. HM's "Hard Mode Adventures"
they basically just change enemies into even bigger powerhouses, for people to have a challenge
so if you get the quest in proph for example, your NM in proph will be harder than HM without it
HM in proph with the same quest, will make them even stronger

another thing those enemies can have buffed, are health and energy regen

imagine this enemy http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Hulking_Stone_Elemental monster skill version of bull's charge, which doesnt end on a hit, monster skill version of pain inverter, monster skill of yeti smash, which has no adrenaline loss etc.
for bosses who would have more skills, make them boos-like foes, so noone can capture their skills
and of course on HM, that HMA quest is even harder than it is on NM, which is already harder than HM itself

people want a challenge right? well, here you go

rewards being: tomes drop at anytime with such quest, lockpicks can drop, and gold items (rarity) drop more often, and all skins have a chance to be inscribable

just watch out to have no quests with you where an npc must survive, unless you want even more challenges

i do agree with the (old) suggestion of having 7 flags near the names of heroes
but disagree with z keys being untradeable
i mean, people should be able to sell them if they want
i have 1 thing i do with them, which is getting them once all my chars have large equipment packs, and give them to a reallife friend to use em, while i get the z chest items..... anyway

this is my idea of fun, just imagine NM being real hard with just 1 simple quest
dont try war in kryta or winds of change with them, i guess, heh

i know its alot of work, and i know they wont do so, but i always would love to do NM, but still have a challenge..... and sometimes i do normal sidequests on HM for fun, like i did with wayfarer (coming tomorrow as far as i know), except for the point i have to reach at rotscale, heh o_O

quick extra: what if the HM version of "Hard Mode Adventures" would drop more than 1 lockpick if they drop from 1 foe, and only purple or gold items, more gold coins of course, and always inscribable items?
you'd have to fight powerhouses worse than the NM version, which is (as i said) worse than the HM we have now, just to get certain skins inscribable, if lucky enough

this has been in mind for some year(s), so i thought this would be a nice suggestion here now

yea, try vqing with the HMA quest i dare you, heh

ADDED: forgot 1 thing: the quest wont work with other humans, unless they have the quest too
