Ok I know this is an old old thread but I was wondering if this will still work. My friend is an E/mo and has 55 farmed outside of droks before and we want to do UW together.

It should still work yes as the 55 Monk and Necro duo still works. The only problem is, you cannot aggro more than 3/4 critters at a time. Otherwise they will break aggro and kill the necro

Me and a friend tried this on april 17, 2007 and it didn't work well. Everything kept striping my enchantments and down i go. It will work for a while but eventually something stips em off and down ya go. I did manage to get a couple ecto though.

THE BUILD
Obsidian Flesh - For 21 seconds, you gain +20 armor and cannot be the target of enemy Spells, but move 50% slower. (For DM, Terrorwebs, Coldfires and Stalking Nights)
Ward Against Melee - You create a Ward Against Melee at your current location. For 21 seconds, non-Spirit allies in this area have a 50% chance to evade melee attacks. (For Aatxes only)
Aura of Restoration - For 60 seconds, you are healed for 334% of the Energy cost each time you cast a Spell. (All-the-time, mostly for smites though)
Kinetic Armor - For 8 seconds, you gain +84 armor. Whenever you cast a Spell, Kinetic Armor is renewed for 8 seconds. (For Aatxes only)
Armor of Earth - For 30 seconds, you gain 62 armor, but move 12% slower. (For Aatxes, Coldfires and Terrorwebs)
Stoneflesh Aura - For 21 seconds, damage you receive is reduced by 33, and you are immune to critical attacks (All-the-time!)
Mantra of Earth - For 62 seconds, whenever you take earth damage, the damage is reduced by 39% and you gain 2 Energy. (All-the-time-with-Stone-Striker!)
Stone Striker - For 32 seconds, whenever you take or deal elemental or physical damage, that damage is converted to earth damage (All-the-time!)
USAGE
Aatxes: Simply turn on Aura-Kinetic-Armor-Stoneflesh-Mantra-Striker-OBSIDIAN FLESH and go get them. If DM spawns, attack it with ur staff, otherwise go back a bit, so they will be on one place.....SS....take drop. Oh and if they will interrupt casting or enchantmens, dont worry, youre gonna survive. With all enchantments up, youre getting 0 dmg from all their attacks, so you will get cca 10-20dmg, so just wait till they get killed or wait for recharge.
Grasping Darknesses: Cast Mantra-Striker-Stoneflesh, no mroe is needed. Just know when they interrupt, its like UW solo. You can easily aggro 2 groups, it's not more diffucuilt.
Smite Crawlers: Smiters are a bit annoying. Cast Mantra-Striker-Stoneflesh-Aura and tank. They will cast smite hex to remove SS or Reckless Haste, so just spam whatever skills for healing that damage (52dmg for every hex). Oh and tell necro to NOT cast Reckless on them. You will lost mana and HP.
Terrorwebs+Coldfires-Stalkers: Cast Mantra-Striker-Stoneflesh-Armor of Earth-OBSIDIAN FLESH and tank. Easy one.

I tried this, it works well as long as the necro bothers to put SV/AV on you(otherwise you bleed, and if [skill]Healing Breeze[/skill] gets interrupted you have no regen. No interrupts = No death)
Cast [skill]Obsidian Flesh[/skill] before aggroing the aatxes because theyll interrupt you and if you see a nightmare wand it to death.
i die against the Coldfires spmetimes tho...
now i wish they'd actually drop some Ecto

I've done some 55 ele-ing in UW, and it works pretty well. The problem is dual monking (smiter and 600 tank) is both safer and more effective.
I've had some lousy SS necs who can't keep their hexes on the smite crawlers, so I tend to use my monk for UW runs.
