My lesser known character... my monk. Who, unlike a good majority of the monks out there doesn't 55. All of his experience has come through a lot of FoWing and UWing.

Unless the viewer's eyes are properly prepared to view such a spectacle, their brain will collapse and lungs explode from sheer marvel. That, or it just doesn't look all that impressive at the moment since it's just a big number with no real bearing (sp?) to it. well early today he didnt blur out the exp and he had 11 million so it could be true but that 1 look a little odd

don't forget, a LONG time ago, the secondary objectives on missions gave Skill points...
And if you don't spend ANY of them, it's not bad.

Faithful Sno: 361 total skill points earned, 5.1 million xp.
If i had 10 mil xp, that would equal approx. 720 skill points, so 11 mil would be ~800. That would mean you'd need to have gotten ~500 skill points from missions/bonus. Don't litter my thread with lies.

My warrior finally got his 300th skill point in reserve for chapter 2. Provided that there are 300 new skills as I've read, he's all set. He already has every skill from Chapter 1, took 373 skill points.
1,208 hours 47 minutes on Racthoh... 1595 hours 59 minutes in total over the past 8 months. Yes, I play warrior too much.

The fact that I did nearly no questing on my monk makes my free skills a lot lower (if I was to buy all the classes with it, as of now I have all monk and mesmer skills on it.)

First of all hats off to sno for creating yet another popular thread, and secondly anyone who says he is farming to much can kiss my ass, because they are the ones sitting around reading guild wars forums and insulting people, which is far less constructive then having fun in a game, which is what games are here for, to be fun... I have been in the underworld with sno for about 400,000 exp on my necro, and it comes fast... and its fun.

What I don't really understand about this thread is that some people are completely insulted and strung up to dry by you people for "farming too much" or whatever, and then for others on the board are like "omg you're so cool"
I think that's pretty contradictory.
It's not like I have anything against Racthoh or Sno or anyone else, because I totally don't.. but like. I dunno, sorta shows a bit of a double standard is all ^_^;; I'm definitely not one to talk, I've clocked a lot of hrs/exp myself, but yeesh!

I'll admit for a while there when you needed 20k exp for a level, I was using the Berserker Scrolls for griffons. 10k in 3 minutes? How can you pass that up? My original goal was to get every skill on my warrior, and I was aiming to enough skill points at that time. Then bam, we get the Sorrows update and you only need 15k per level. Think I was around 4 million at that time, probably closer to 5 which was enough skill points for everything. Which was when the mass FoW and UW questing started, along with the experimenting in other areas to solo (once I knew FoW like the back of my hand). That brought me up to about 8 and a half. I stopped partying with my warrior around the Sorrows update because it's too hard to find people that know how to let a warrior aggro, and I could never find groups that could stand each other for more than an hour.
And if I couldn't find parties I could stand in PvE, there was no way I was turning over to PvP.
So a good half of my experience came from simple farming, the rest from questing and soloing in the higher end areas. I don't much consider UW and FoW farming as they are just plain fun and more so challenging in terms of UW (although it's become a bit of a bore as of late, and actually pretty easy), and the payoff is only good if you survive. Is it admirable? Prehaps to some, but I've gained a lot of knowledge from it and that's what really counts. Take solace in the fact that I have earned that mass in multiple areas of the game, not just a single area where a certain combination of skills is being used heavily by thousands to gain their spoils.
