i remember when i first got to grotto it was awesome there. But now i can't stand being there i probably get 10 whispers an hour there from nub's asking for money for there armor. I now hang out in fishermans with all and trade chat off so i can anjoy jsut me, my guild, and my friends

it's actually kewl there not having to deal with all the nub's.

Sigh...I agree with the deterioration of Grotto theory. When I just stopped in there a group of wars with pink fow armor were messing around when a bunch of jealous idiots just ran in and were like "omg tahts sos sutoopidd ur dumb hahaha idiot nub". Fisherman's ALRIGHT, but it's just not the same when I think of the good ol' days. The good ol' days as I define them were the BWE's through about June or so. I'm not saying that after that the game started sucking, but there was definitely a lot more of a positive aura in the general gameplay. Now there seems to be tons of noob bashing on those who dont deserve it and then the real noobs poisoning the environment with jealousy and ignorance. Fortunately, the release of the second chapter is only months away and we will be able to discover a new Grotto which we can enjoy for quite some time.

My personal fav location is the International Dragon's Lair. Think about it. No PVP noobs, no noobs who can't beat their doppleganger, no noobs spamming sells, no droknar-running noobs and it LOOKS the best imo, and it's small.

I went to grotto twice to craft armor and couldn't wait to leave, just a bunch of kids bragging about how much this cost and how much they paid for this... it's like.."you're proud of yourself because you cannot manage your finances better?" I admit, the glamour pieces are neat, but what is the point of paying the price if you're just standing around talking about it, not using it. My favourite thing to see people talking crap about is how "their guild/rank/pvp" style is so much more "l33t" than yours, another thing so easily proven while idling and chatting in marhans grotto for 6 hours a day.

Good point to live by, "those who talk the most, walk the least"

Right now, some of these people there are very braggie, I agree with the lil kids bragging here and there. Apparently they come there just to get some "Popularity" in the game. After seeing all the "Rich" people there before, they come to be the rich while being the norm. :P

Really, I don't think this is fair. There is a grotto fissure club, we meet almost every evening and chat. Sugar Lips, myself, Wrynn, Sun, and many others. We do have fun (even though I dislike sugar...) Grotto is cool, if your in the right crowd, and know what times to come. Honestly, you just have to know when to come, it really is just that simple! I have tons of fun at grotto, and as I type this, I have a big smile on my face remembering last week, when we had a discussion about the new classes, discussing weaknesses and strengths, things we liked disliked, etc. Grotto is great, just come when the dumbasses are not there, and the cool peeps are around. We help noobs out here and there, with pointers on how to play better, and instead of giving money to beggars, I teach them a farming build, and how to be self sufficient. Grotto club meets nearly everyday, around 9pm -1(maybe2)am EST. Come on down if you want to have a nice chat about the game, and life in general, even if you don't have FoW or 15K armor. Wrynn and I had a short discussion about color combos for my monk fissure, and we joked around about how I looked like a giant citrus fruit in my new color combo. Good laughs! We have synced dancing and everything some nights. Here, this was tonight!
