So, from what I'm reading, there are areas for PvE that have been removed? Did I read that correctly?
I've also determined henchies are "smarter" now. Does this mean they are useful in missions and normal quests? Has anyone noticed an improvement?
I'm not into PvP and could careless about it, so I'm just wondering if anything new was added for PvE that I can go look at it.

At Tombs, you can enter a purple gate, the UW, what is it? You have to kill monsters, then what?

im saying the only thing keeping me is UW/FoW, and that if they got rid of either(which is what i was hearing from my European friends who couldnt enter either) than there would be a huge uproar. but since investigating more, its just a bug so everything is a-okay. i like the new login/char screen btw :x

I tried clearing out an entire base of enemies, nothing. I thought maybe the hero that used to be by the shard would drop it when you kill him, but nope...

Question regarding PVE!!
Are any new items you get during the event, going to stay with you after the event ends?
I already seen people with new items gotten? Items never before in the game.
So are new items going to stay or not? Or will they be deleted from your inventory after the event ends. What about the Tombs event? Is the Tombs event a seperate thing, so items from there, will stay?

You now enter UW through Tombs - and Tombs PvP is gone?

Looks freaking awesome no doubt!!
Here is a glitch I found! I have 2 sets of tats armor on my monk and one set was dyed all back - for those who have black tats armor, your whole armor piece looked black/grey well I have 1 piece that still looks that way but the rest of them are the typical yellow with the tat insignia being black! Which is wierd that they are all not consistant! When worn it still is black so no worries!!
Apart from that - the enitre update looks AWESOME - the new screen/interface/ect looks much more crisper and sharp.
I had to go home during lunch to check it out!! Well worth it!!

And I think the tombs event is seperate from factions. Since the tomb's update was made over a week ago. So they had an update in the tombs and information about the Zhalien prior to the start of the faction event.
Can someone with some inside knowledge, let us know if any new items we get are staying after the event ends or not?

Tombs is the same except for the part where you fight the ghostlies, thats changed a bit (read, a lot). I think the UW being referred to was the first Tombs map, in fact, I'm almost certain this is the case.

Pretty massive update
The old Tombs entrance has become some kind of UW place.
Tombs PvP appears to have moved to the "Hero's Ascent" area, didn't try it though the NPC there talked about altar etc. so I think that's the same thing.
Not sure how to get into FoW anymore, no ghosts in Temple of Ages.

It will stay greyed out after this weekend untill you buy faction.
Gaile or Alex Weeks said that but I cannot find the article.

There are several new armours on NPC's. In the new training area if you wander around a bit, you can find "Master of...." trainers to fight, and they seem to be wearing new armour.
