PvP vs. PvE

I was just wondering what percentages that you spend on the different aspects of the game? I spend about 20-25% of my time doing PvP in one of its many aspects. But, I'm primarily a PvE player, with that consuming 75-80% of my online time.

So how do you spend your time in Guild Wars?

Please no flames about how one group or the other sucks. Both sides of the game have fulfilling aspects to certain types of people.

I just love both aspects of the game

20% PvE, 80% PvP

80% PvE-20% PvP, but I am currently doing a little more PvP so it will go a bit more to PvP in the future.

100% pve when I started.
75% pve 25% pvp when I completed game first time (didn't bother with starter arena's)
85% pvp 15% pve now

99% PvE

I really dislike PvP

99.9 pve. I enjoy pvp in this game (mainly coz its not like most games where its yaaaar there's a lonely lvl 5, kill it lads!) but i tend not to bother much. I dont want the competitiveness of Tombs, i don't trust pugs enough to go to CA unless I have my friends online, and I just can't be bothered with random arenas So I tend to stick to GvG on the few rare times that we get a match going. I prefer exploring the land though or collecting skills for my multiple chars.

If you asked me a week ago I would say I used 90% of my time on PvE. But now I just made a Boon Prot PvP monk, so now I am using about 95% of the time on PvP.

90% PvE - 10% PvP (Competition arenas exclusively)

I can't be bothered with the hours upon hours of metagaming that's part of the other PvP types. 'Enter mission' and instant action!

96% PvE
2% Idle
2% PvP


During the weekend preview event I played Random Arena all weekend long. When I get my Rits back I'll prolly PvP again. With my Rits I will prolly be more along the lines of...

76% PvE
22% PvP
2% Idle

i guess i'm 20% PvP, and about 70% PvE :l
10%...nothingness/idle/afk/random talk

33.4691% PvP
66.5309% PvE

I'm never idle, if I know I'm not going to play then I log out, free up some bandwidth and crank my TS server up to full bandwidth.

about 3 months ago i was 75% pvp and 25% pvp, but that was before the new UW came into the scene, I LOVE THE NEW UW

Guesstimate... 95% PvE, 5% PvP (and then exclusively random arena. My guild is strictly PvE and I can't be bothered to go through the aggravation of PUGs to form a team.)

Put another way, I have a total of 1.3 million EXP, but only 67 000 faction.

at the start 99% pve 1 arenas
finished the game with all 3 characters so i started pvp
20% pve 80% pvp

then i got to 132 fame but then the iway craze had taken hold. Groups that weren't iway demanded rank 3+ so my fame stood idle for the last couple of weeks.

Now
80% pve 20% pvp mainly arenas
when GW:Factions comes out ill probably pvp a lot more

95% pve 5% pvp
I play pvp (or gvg) occasionally when someone is missing or need to test something.

100% PvE - too busy enjoying and working my way through the storyline to even think about PvP.

I'm 99% pvp.

What do you all do in PvE?

I'm not bashing or anything, I was PvE at first. I'm just curious what there is left to do, or if maybe I'm missing something.

Used to be 75% PvE and 25% PvP, but a couple of months back I just didn't like the general attitude of tombs anymore, no instant action, no actual friendly PUG people as compared to the new tombs where I've added 5 new friends to my friends list in a couple of runs alone. So now it's closer to 95% PvE and 5% for the odd competition arenas or filling up some team when people I know really need someone.
