If you could change one thing about Guild Wars...
RaabTheGuru
What would you change?
---Take out the "Trade Chat" option. Instead, have designated districts in towns where trading can take place. In the other non trading districts, the "Trade with player" isn't available.
Reason for this: I can no longer go into the first 2 districts of any major town, (Ascalon City, Lions Arch, Droknars Forge, Deldrimore War Camp..to name a few), because the chat is being spammed with buying and selling. People don't use the "Trade channel" option because they know people like me clicked the "ignore" part so they could actually have a chance to form a group or talk without having to scroll up 10 pages worth of trade chat.
---I think this would not only help people who like to trade, but also would help out people like me that rarely buy anything from other people, or people who just dont want to see that crap all day.

-- I would make it possible to have your other characters (PvE aspect) when they've completed all missions or something, to have acces to the skills you've already unlocked on your other PvE or PvP characters.
Its maybe a minor thing, but it really but really irritates me, when I got perfect weapons I want to PvP with my PvE character, but I want to use alot of diferent builds wich I can't because I need to unlock all those skills again.
I agree with the trade thing, but they are working on it.

What I would like to see was a fixed max amount of a given item any NPC seller could have in stock, for example a max of 100 of any given sup rune. Not saying they wouldn`t buy from the player if their stock is filled up, it would just not add to their selling stock. This implemented together with a fixed minimum price of a given item. The reason for doing this would be to create a gradually scaled cost of items, to avoid the situation we have now, where most isn`t worth anything, and a few things are comparable laughable in cost. The idea would be to let new people aquire wealth by the stuff they sell, instead of having to wait untill that one drop that hits the jackpot. Because, isn`t the one drop makes you rich policy, the very thing Arenanet is trying to avoid?

i would have a permenant snowball fight arena up in the shiverpeaks....
a lower one, just for fun, in the yaks bend area, and a more serious...*as if snowballs are serious ^.^ eheh* up at droks forge....
sure, they would have to take out the presents except for Wintersday, and the kids and presents would have to go....swap the prezzie you picked up into a ice box ore ring of some kind, swap grenth and dwayna for a couple of colored snowmen, but hey ^^ it could be just for fun, same rules, same skills....
(a good way to unwind, have some fun and maybe ease a non pvp inot a bit of fighting others heh)

I would most like to see the pet/henchie AI buff. Commands like "stay here while I go pull", or "fighter henchies go initiate fight/aggro", or a faster "retreat" button to allow pets/henchies to leave targets to run away or pull.

As something that would probably be fairly easy to change, I would like more storage. Heck, I would be willing to pay some in-game gold or even real-world cash to increase the size of my storage.
Also, seeing as I'm putting a wish list together, I would like an easier way to swap items between my two accounts.
Maxiemonster
I'd change the fact I still don't have a 15% Fiery Flame Spitter.
KANE OG
I'd like to see more in-game moderators. The thought of seeing "Player so-and-so kicked for foul language" come across the chat window, well, that would make my day.
Dazzen
I'd like more content added to PvE on a regular basis, not big updates but some new monsters/minor map tweaks like the titans quests for example.
Ideally this would be added once every two weeks (and maybe removed after a time period) and apply to all zones for the lower level to enjoy some change in their quests/missions.
also some kind of random-spawning lost strongbox that would spawn 1 time out of 100 in a random high level areas (past droks).

I've seen too many "Dancing for tips, giving handjobs and head for 100g" in presearing. There's little kids that play this game, and people like me who just don't want to hear that crap coming from a 14 year old boy to another 14 year old boy.
merciless
I would like to be able to have battles with the same class 1 on 1. (ex. Warrior vs Warrior)
Zakarr
I would make PvE a lot harder. Every area, quest and mission need more challenge.

Also, in pre having the elementalist trainer offer all four elements would be nice. (This applies to early post skills too) It gets very discouraging to play any other element but fire, as there are simply very little decent skills until later in the game.

I'd take out the Worlds at War concept from the game and make access to UW and FoW unlimited for everyone at all times and not dependent on who has favor atm.
Reason:
With now 5 territories, the WaW concept locks even more players out from the only real challenging PvE areas than before. Also, WaW doesn't make any sense. The PvE players hate to be locked out from their most interesting areas and most PvP players simply don't care about who has favor (why would they?). Most PvP PUGs don't even notice which territory they're fighting for until they are in the first map.

That's the biggest letdown about the game.
Also, I'd remove Fame and Rank. It's pointless, and it makes new players have a much harder time finding a group doing Hero's Ascent.

They should make the WaW thing do something else like maybe reduce merchant costs like Factions does.

Keep the Worlds at War concept, but separate the PvP and PvE aspects.
Right now, PvP dicates whether or not PvE players have bonus areas to explore. The trial is PvP-based, while the reward is PvE-based. That makes no sense, just like you said above. My proposal is this: If PvP players gain the favor of the gods by winning 5 consecutive times in the HoH, then PvP players for that area should get some sort of advantage, not PvE players. (maybe reduce faction costs to unlock items and skills) If PvE players gain the favor of the gods, by doing something PvE-related, then they get access to their areas, instead of having to wait for PvP players to do their thing.

No.
and it makes new players have a much harder time finding a group doing Hero's Ascent.
Yes it does. Why is there something wrong with this? Why should players who are new to the game, or maybe just PvP, be given all the priveleges and rights as those who have put many more hours into PvP than they have? Experience isn't everything, but it is something important. Why should a player that is at what is designated the rank 9 lvl be forced to join up with random people without being able to see anything about their skill ahead of time? If we had no way at all to gage the skills of other players in PvP, it'd become very frustrating for players who were good because it would be easy for crappy players to get in their groups and then the rank 9s would be stuck baby-sitting the crappy players when all they really want is to play the game at their level. It's frustrating finding groups when you're low level. So what? I had to go through miles of crappy teams before I got enough rank to join good groups. That's just the right of passage in PvP.
There is no good reason to complain about the ranks or fame or say it's pointless. If you suck then you suck and complaining isn't gonna make you better. If you don't suck, you just lack experience, then where there is a will there is a way. If you really are better than the standard skill level of your current rank then you will eventually get noticed and ppl will start contacting you to join their groups and eventually you'll probably find a core group of players that you can play with all the time. If you aren't any better than any one else that is your rank, then you'll just have to stick around with your low rank pals until you eventually get lucky and win some games. I like Guild Wars because it doesn't make everything worth having easy to obtain. It seems like the reward is always proportionate to the time or effort you put out.

Just fix the damn henchies, so they have sense enough to get out of poison water and lava before they drop.

I would say increase the drop rate as well as bring in better weapons for castors that use wands with those on par with PvP with energy bonuses.

-Having 1 GM (With really cool armor, not just regular players.. I want them to look Unique like the skill master) in every city, and in random arenas.
Heheh, I know only 1 but for another... Almost every suggestion in the suggestion Forum.

I also agree with Harmony about the ele skills. The only reason the other element's builds exist is because we have people determined enough to play them.

I would like to be able to boot a jerk from a mission, not someone who is just being rude but one that likes to cause mayhem then just laughs while the others die, or the person who holds the gear lever hostage until he gets paid.
Then have the ability to replace that booted player with a hench of your choosing.

I would change Alesia. Why? I hear you ask; What's wrong with her?
1) Doesn't heal herself. Ever.
2) Stands in poison water
3) Doesn't heal others fast enough, even though I know she has the energy.

I definately back this idea. There is way too much bad language and behaviour in the largely populated areas in Guild Wars, and I think it's a real problem.
