Ring of Fire: Invasion of the W/mos
Sagius Truthbarron
Yeah, good luck finding that monk o.o Is this where's Waldo? There has to be like 25 W/mo here. So I guess they beat THK and now they can't beat a mission that requires aggro controll.
Well, my henchies and I aren't having any problems
KANE OG
Matbe they're all on strike.

When i was there with my W/E two groups rejected me because I wansn't a wammo. Apparently being a monk secondary keeps you alive much longer even if you don't use any secondary skills (ok, conjure frost for the ele part).
Note the care taken in avoiding to bash how terrible mending is at keeping you alive and would make little difference in RoF, yet people seem to think it does.

And THAT is why my warrior still hasn't done that mission or anything after.. btw, was it really soo wrong to change to /mo for the re-usable res seeing as I wasn't using any necro skills anyway?
Meanwhile, every other char of mine has done that mission and gotten into a group reasonably fast.

Personally I'd be more inclined to think the Farming Army has found a new farm... now that Augury is nurphed.
LouAl
lol, that is just plain funny...not sure why it is but sometimes there seems to be these mad groupings and other times I have had to sit in a group and spam GLF Tank (or 2), we have 6 monks...
TheMosesPHD
Are they farming the ettins? I tried to do it once but got pwned trying to get past the mursaat.
Diablo???
I just think its probably a coincidence that the wammos arrived to rof at the same time...

re. the reusable res. First off there are plenty off bosses, you should be getting plenty of recharges on the res sig. Plus if your the last one left alive your doing something wrong.
Ironically this mission is one where being a W/E can really help. Wards + Gale really make the mission a lot easier. Jade armour running in the backline? Gale it then get back and drop a ward against melee for them.

I have a W/Mo and i know my limitations you speak only of VERY FEW w/Mos its unfortunate u think of that when u think of W/Mo
Mandy Memory

War/Monks can solo farm RoF mursaat and friends using +armor skills, so that would be my guess.

How the Wammo heirarchy works:
-Alpha-Wammo: Listens to no one in the group, charges in and then blames the group upon dying.
-Higher Wammo: Listens to the Alpha-Wammo, charges in behind the Alpha-Wammo. Agrees with the Alpha-Wammo when they blame the group, when they BOTH die.
-Basic Wammo: Listens to the Monk, a Higher Wammo, or an Alpha-Wammo. Agrees to follow the group plan, but then does whatever the other Wammos say. Has some talent fighting/blocking, but aggros to much, and lets the squishies die. Blames the casters of the group if everyone dies.
Lesser Wammo: Listens to the Monk most, or an Alpha-Wammo when one is available, but ignores the orders of a Higher/Basic Wammo. Is good at Aggroing properly, but let's the squishies die. Blames the individual who messed up if everyone dies, unless it's them or an Alpha-Wammo.
Warrior-Monk: Often looked down upon by higher classes of Wammo as a "noob" or "retard" These W/Mo tend to aggro properly, block properly, listen to the most experienced player in the group, follows plans the best they can, does everything they can to salavge bad situations, appologizes when they make a little mistake, and blames only the person(s) responsible if everyone dies, even if it's them.

Me and 3 other guildies capped and did the mission there a week ago. Funny thing was that we were the only 4 monks in the district, and there were 20 (yes, im serious, TWENTY) whammo invites within 5 minutes. Another 10 or so whispered me asking if I wanted to help them with the mission... HAHA! Devona > XwhammoX
Such a fun place to hang out and feel loved as a monk.

LMAO ROFL AHAHAHAHAAHA
Glob of Noobloplasm
I think that entire island is just unfair for warriors..
for 1 all the good elites are located on the last mission so warriors flood the island and since most monks just go straight to ToA after ascension most groups are "LF 2 MONKS FOR MISSION AND BONUS INVITE SELF" People are hesitant to take warriors on any mission (most feel that 1 is enough) so this makes it 1000 times harder. If you can get evis and hundred blades, consider it a very good accomplishment.

The reason I hate wammos is because I've never found one that can tank near as well as a W/R. Sorry, but Troll Unguent beats the hell out of Healing Breeze.
lg5000
Doylak sig. is for tanking.. and heal sig Of course, you DONT want to hear "fall back" just after hitting doylak
