March 9th Update

Well obviously they are have to make it so the core skills can balance vs ANY new skills they introduce with any new characters.

I don't mind the big update.. I just don't like having to do it on 3 different computers.

Nah, their Bloodstained Boots were fixed too.

I don't know why this should be surprsing to anyone. There would not be much of an incentive to buy both "chapters" than, would there? I mean I bought GW because I really liked the fact there were no monthly fees - I think this is fair. Plus they are going to continue to add content - I know not everyone can afford to buy a new game whenever they want, but come on. All skills from both games in one? That would be like slapping the face of everyone who bought the first chapter. Just my two cents...

I'd call that more of a kick in the crotch. The 2 slots thing, that was a slap.

It seems the Vision of Glint in Droks does not appear anymore. Intentional?

If you're smart, you can use the money card to get yourself cable internet. The thing to do is check how much your phone bill is each month and add that to how much your dial-up service is per month. I know that my old phone bill was racking up close to 3 digits per month between local/long distance/taxes/ etc.

Now, find out how much per month cable internet costs (if you have cable tv, you get a discount likely) and add $30 to that. The $30 is how much per month your entire phone bill will be if you switch to a digital phone provider. We, for example, switched to Vonage, and for a hair under $30 you get everything, local, unlimited long distance, all the features... we actually saved money going to cable internet and phone.

I hope I don't sound too much like an ad, but seriously, do the math. You can have high-speed cable and phone for less money than regular phone and dial-up.

Now i can't even log on to play for 15 mins, because of the stupid Factions Beta event...

I don't even want to play it, and it sure as fracking hell isn't streaming, as it seems to want to download when Start playing on my character.

Is this function now broken or what?

And yes, i have 56k dail-up.

GODDAMN the sound update is annoying. I hate being unable to hear my hits landing. It makes battles really boring. Plus it gets a bit harder to time skill usage when I don't instantly know when I hit something.

BTW did any of u seen the new animation when someone/thing is dazed?



Liked the old version way better, now its only a couple of small circles floating around.

You realise there will be Faction ONLY elites and skills, right?

Also, look at the skill names...

Gust..(Gale?)
Whirling Axe (Cyclone?)
Sundering Blow (Penetrating Blow?)

And from the backstage pass events, it looks like there will be some similar skills in Factions, most likely this was the best way to ensure balance.

Download updates on one comp, then copy the Gw.dat file to the other ones.

I wonder if there was anything updated in the graphics engine because since yesterday I can see the boss monster glow even on my crappy laptop now great stuff ;o)

They changed the Dazed animation? I am a little sad, my guildmates and I always got a big laugh when we Dazed a spellcaster or we got Dazed. It was called the Cone of Shame. Now it can't be called that anymore.

I saw I downloaded about 8 MB last night before I closed out, not realizing I should have left it open for the other 492 MB. Hehe.

This is the funniest thing ever. You people should go play WoW for 1 week and see what their updates are like. Every week it will be down for 1-2 days just do dl and install their new updates. It would be for some crap like fixed graphics on menu button or some junk like that.

You complain about 1 big update after how many months of playing? What a spoiled generation.

Am I the only one with this problem?
