I just went to the Skill Trainer in LA and he had every skill in the game cept Elites. Just like at Ember Light Camp.

But I also had a massive update on 34Mb just before it happend.

Also for some reason its only on my Ascended Characters as other people with low levels dont seem to have the option.

Yeah, I don't have that with my level 18 character. I haven't checked with my ascended yet.

The guy in Ascalon seems to have a large selection, too.

It just shows you which skills you know as well as the ones the trainer can sell you.

No it doesnt up until today I never even bothered to get Verata's gaze and sacrifice. They are only at Copperhammer mines and Ember Light Camp yet I just bought them at LA.

I don't see *every* skill...

But a little bit of experimentation and thought suggests that:

* It looks like any skill you have unlocked is now available from a trainer real early.

Eh, correction and clarification: Every *non-elite* skill you have unlocked (through PVE OR faction points) is now available from any skill trainer from Ascalon onwards.

I think it's here to stay - once I finished making the above post another build came in, but after I logged out and in, the skills are all still there.

I think it's great - Go ANET!

Not your post... I was correcting my own post where I said "any skill you have unlocked", which could have confused people.

But you know, it'd be easy to get a good build up and running for PVE Factions now - just farm zaishen for 7k exp, unlock all the relevant skills, then buy them on your PVE character.

gg Ascalon Arena and Shiverpeak Arena. Abusers can now get skills so easily.

I hope this stays. I said it before, but it bears repeating: Let people play how they want to play. If they want a sword warrior with galrath strike and final thrust right out of pre searing, and they have it unlocked, let them.

Strange, wasn't A.net against UAS at first?

1. It's a bug.

2. It's not UAS. It's PvE access to all unlocked skills at trainers.

Really doubt its a bug. I think this has more to do with making guildwars have less liner character progression for factions And bringing Chapter 1 up to speed as well. Edit it could be that The Skill unlocking was meant for the factions chapter but they gave it to chapter 1 instead.

I think it's a bad idea.

You'll suddenly have a strong line between first-time characters and non-first-time characters.
