That would be true Raccoon. I was doing perfectly fine, logged out for 5 minutes to check a couple of things and what have you, came back and had that error. Restarted comp and still had it

Yep, I'm getting it as well. Was logged in with my PvP char and then wanted to switch to a PvE and got the error. I'm up to 78mb for the update as well. I checked GW.com but it doesn't have anything about a server issue at this time.

Yea, I've been getting the same error for about an hour now and nothing. They don't have that code error listed in their support pages either. So I have no clue as to what the problem is. But it's obviously on their end and most likely having to do with the mass streaming for Factions or something.

I'm also getting error code 057. It started as error code 072 and now I immediately get error code 057 every time I try to log in. I was a bit worried that it was a problem on my end. It's good to know I'm not the only one having problems.

I have these errors too. I also have 100mb downloading now, too. Maybe that has something to do with it.

yeah that Download is just maps and stuff its not causing the error, mine dowloaded 400 megs this morning cuz i left it on.

its not factions or anything just normal in game stuff e.g. if you leave it for long enough you wont have any dling at loading screens.

I got done with all that downloading this morning... and I've been getting all the same errors. It is now back to error 72. I reopened Guild wars, and there is no more little lightening bolt in the corner.

Well I have to say that this is a bad intro to Factions lol. I'm just hoping they fix it fast cause spring break already started for me and I was looking forward to dying repeatedly trying to pass Thunderhead Keep.

BTW, what little lightning bolt and update? I have nothing like that on my login screen :/ I did leave it running all night from the first update then, so mebbe it finished, I got no clue.
