No Divine Aura?! OH cmon.. COME OOOooon. That is the only reason i woulda gotten it... talk about marketing in action. I am forced to buy another copy of a game i already have in order to get the Aura, that isnt even offered in the new chapter CE. I mean, cmon, i got Ch1 before the CE was offered in my area...CMOOON!
Did i say COME ON!??!?

do we get glowing hands in chapter 2? thats all i want ce for :S
Eugaet
Divine Aura was specific to the Prophecies CE. If you didn't get it then, you missed out.
Just like the backup dancers for Factions CE. If you don't get the Factions CE before they're sold out, you've lost your chance.
That's why they're the Collector's Editions.

So basically, if you make a primary assassin or ritualist at all, you won't gain any benefit at all. Rather disappointing.

zomg! I got to get this Collector's Edition! But, Divine Aura, man..
Mournblade
I'll have to wait and see this dance before I pass judgement, but I was really hoping for something more like Divine Aura... halo or something. I'm not much of a dancing person. =)

No extra slot. :/
Might get CE just for the soundtrack though. I really hate the CE box, as I hate the ritualists' armors.
Wish they had it with the assassin.

Ok. I've seen a few around the forum who've preodered the CE already and added it to their account. I'm wondering where they got it and how a CE Preoder pack is different from a Normal (In terms of serial number or something to tell the ANet server which it is when adding, I already know the contents ) Preorder pack. I'm reasonably sure it was a CE preorder, as a they said (forgot username xD) they got Divine Aura off it...
Where'd they get a CE preorder pack? Please enlighten me.

I'm pretty sure there's only one preorder package going around.

In terms of ingame items hrm well, definately NO divine aura for this C.E. I was hoping there might be something similar, dunno, without being able to see what the /emote does.
If it's like /rank or something I'll probably just wait for the standard version of the game, as those types of emotes are fun like once and then hardly used anymore after that - not impressed with the (standard) pre-order items and not sure extra items in the box are of any real worth to me personally.

Is it possible to get the pre-order bonus and the collector's edition at the same time?
Xenrath
Oops I missed mm00re's post lol well, me reconsiders, that does sound fun
DJ Josh
anyone considered the fact that the pre-order list does not have 2 extra slots the same as the ce list does.sound like a possibility of 2+2 to me would like confermation on this pls gaile or alex (if they are reading this of course).if so,cool,if not i'll stick with my normal pre-order because i like to play the game rather than standing there /dancing,just a waste of time that could be spent enjoying the game(imo).

For me, stuff like the Art Book, the Soundtrack etc make it worth the cash, couldn't care less about the shiny hands and stuff, although they are a fun addition. But if they were the only extra thing, I most certainly would NOT buy the CE.
And finally us Europeans get the good treatment, with more stuff than the rest. BOOYAH!!

Where would be the best place to get the CE?
Sjekster
I have no idea, actually. I know lots of webshops where I could get it cheap, but then I would have to wait like a week for it to arrive. So I'm gonna pay a few bucks extra and get it at my local retailer.
SilentAssassin
but the pre-order packages only get in europe 31 march isn't it?
Sjekster
Yup. Don't exactly know how it will work though. I axed about it at my local Dynabyte store, and the only thing the salesman could tell me was that it would cost 25! euro's. Didn't know if you would pay 25 less for the final game, and if it was viable for the CE too. I just have to wait and see I guess..
Jas D
Well if anyone has any idea or input, I'd like to know. Thanks
Lint
Ohh man, it doesnt come with a headset or something : (
