you get absolutely nothing worth it. i wouldnt pay an extra 5 bucks for the stuff that comes with the collectors edition. unless you're one of those people that listens to video game music and has like anime posters on their wall, what is the point of this? if you really want to see characters dance, get britney spears' dance beat or something like that. i'm so glad i didnt wait for the CE and miss out on my chance to get the preorder box.

When I buy CE I like to think I am supporting anets ideas. The only reason I would not CE, if they killed my favrite class or the kill the way I like to play the game.

Anyway, screw EB Games. I went and bought the pre-order at Best Buy instead yesterday.
And I plan on getting the CE. I want the art book, the mouse pad, etc.
I really wanted the Ritualist Cloth, too (bloody Euros!)
The dances are a nice bonus... although I probably won't even be making an Assassin!

Crud is EB games bad for pre-orders?? I preordered normal factions there on my birthday a few days ago, they said they didn't have pre-order boxes and I asked if I would get them on release date.

If you need a new mouse-pad anyway, are prone to leaving GW up at the login screen for its music, and are enamored with the fluid, life-like motion of the current classes' dances (okay, I'm an animator, give me a break)... how is the CE a waste of money?

And they couldn't give me any info on when to expect it...
Then I read a thread where someone had waited for EB Games to get the pre-order boxes, and only 4 came in (and he was 5 on the list!). By that time, the other pre-orders from other stores were gone. I didn't want that to happen to me, so I went and bought the pre-order yesterday.

I got the CE, and I feel that it is not a waste, well sort of, I not sure that I will like the ritualist, so the dance emote isn't going to do anything for me and I will get an assassin, but I doubt that he/she will go beyond Catha, the mouse pad, I will only use if it has a gel wrist pad (which I doubt) but the other stuff is cool, and I hate to look back and think "Man, I wish I had bought the CE!!" Basically, it is about prefferences.

Look, I can blow $20 so easily... Like on getting the CE to a game I like.

Mainly, I'm buying it to support ANet. That aside, I like the extra crap. Furthermore, it's my money and I spend it how I see fit. I'm sure there are plenty of things you spend your money on that I'd consider a waste. To each their own.

I want it, but Game Stop doesn't have the CE pre-order in there computer database, even though its on their website. I went ahead and paid for the regular copy in full, and hopefully I can get the CE before launch.

I'm getting CE for the following reasons:
New Artbook, Soundtrack (a real physical one), the DirectSong code which appears to be "special" to Factions CE (if not I would buy it since they fixed DirectSong repeating the same songs in a loop).
Enhanced Dance Emotes is a secondary thing for me, just as divine glow was in C1.

Personally, I don't really need to get the collector's edition. Although, I don't really think it's the biggest waste of money ever. If people really want the special things, then by all means, they can pay a bit extra for it.
The only thing I wouldn't like is if A-net's "exclusive" /dance for Ritualist and Assassin was the only way for them to dance differently than the Ranger. Not that this is a big thing, I just like the different dances of the professions.

For me it's worth every penny. I love artbooks, so that alone was reason enough for me. The added Soundtrack is nice too, plus the music key which presumably will get you the to be released MiniPak for free. Rest of the stuff is a nice extra
. Btw, if you don't like it, don't buy it. I like the contents, so I will, and it's a nice show of support to Anet too
.This stuff is all just relative anyway, because everyone values other stuff and so on...

I'll never argue I easily got my moneys worth GW:P.
I'll additionally never stop arguing that forcing some of us into character binds certainly effects how we'll enjoy that game and what it's worth to us. Particularly when forcing some hard decisions.
Although I think they're getting into milking it territory, I'd support buying extra slots. That's at least been my biggest issue - there was no real good option here. Unlinked bites (IMO), and you couldnt even throw money at linked slots to resolve any walls you ran into.

Yes, it's listed as WoW, but it's actually half that and half GW. Phenomenal track, and I recommend it to everyone.
