Belgium here, so I expect the copy's of the pre-order box will come out 31 march ?

California, Fry's Electronics has bunch of them, local gamestop/ebgames has them too, the funny thing is Walmart and Target don't have it!

I'm in Southenr California and my local Gamestop did the same thing. They ahve their own "reserve list" for all new games where you can reserve your copy and pikc-it up on the release date or whenever you can get to the store. (usually used when you think a popular game will sell-out quick)

And now there's mass confusion on Gamestop's part because they have a list of about 150 people who reserved Factions for 5$. (They started their reserve list about a month before a actual date for Factions release was even set) And they only received about 30 pre-order copies. And now employees and customers alike are pretty much confused over everything. Because I think about 90% of the people who reserved through Gamestop thought that by doing that they would receive a pre-order package. Because Gamestops term for their reserve list just happens to be "Pre-order", but as of right now it looks like Gamestops pre-order is different from Anets. At least that's what the manager told me.

And to put the icing ont he whole mess, they're so far shorthanded in terms of pre-order packs, the Gamestop has now started a "list" of people who are waiting for the pre-order packs.

It's all very confusing, especially since all the links and websites only talk about online ordering, and all the actual stores have no idea what's going on.

Nobody answered me so I'll ask again: Has anyone ordered the pre-order over the internet and actually get good service and get what you're supposed to get? If so, from what website?

I tried Best Buy, and I STRONGLY recomment you DO NOT order from them, they are totally clueless.

I'm in Vancouver, BC, Canada & the preorder have not arrived at the local
Futureshop & Best Buy stores.

The Best Buy here had the pre-order on shelf on March 2nd.

The EB Games in Waco, TX didn't get their shipment for about a week after the release date. When I tried back later, they were sold out- so I went to the Best Buy in Waco and bought it there instead, that same day.

I ordered just the pre-order pack from Amazon and got excellent service, as usual from them. I've also pre-ordered the Collector's Edition from gamestop, and received my pre-order pack today in the regular mail. So far, I'm very happy with them.

Gamestop in SLC, Utah, They had it a few days after the announced shipping date, and they still have it.

I am based in UK/England/SE.

My Question as well or is this only available in Europe on the 31st of March?

I will not have a problem in getting this “Access to Guild Wars Factions twenty-four hours before the official release date” option cos maybe sites offer this but this pack/kit it’s like a mystery when I ask in stores or info in the online sites.

Game is doing this in game items but from what it says on the site it’s only for Faction and not for the CE. But I would not order from game if they said they have it for CE game.net are just a rip-offs. (Ok maybe as a last resort)

Weird thing is I have HMV- Virgin Megastore- Gamestation- GAME- Dixons - PC World- I am sure I have missed someone, but they are like 15 minutes from were I live (diff directions ) and no one knows anything about this Pre-Order Pack.

I know that I am new to the country and maybe I cant express myself but c’mon, Guild Wars Factions Pre-Order pack, cant be that many to get confused about it, Even GAME doest know anything until I pointed that it says on there site. But again I was told not with the CE, kind of weird cos you paying more for the CE and this Pre-Order Pack should be free or you pay towards a deposit to reserve the game.

Gaile is there anyone in promoting this game in the UK? or are stores to lazy to keep up with games.

Maybe Anet should make a tour in the UK to promote the game or something to late for chapter 2 but chapter 3 is around the corner

Yeah, I finally just decided to cancel all my pre-order stuff. I'll try again after Factions is released I suppose. But right now everything is such a mess with pre-order packages and there not being enough of them, it's got tot he point where I had alreayd paid $15 to Gamestop, and $5 to Bestbuy without getting any closer to my Pre-Order pack.

And one can only assume it's goign to be worse when the ctual game comes out. So I just got my money back and am just going to wait it out until after Factions is released. Hopefully it will be better than, because most stores have no clue (one clerk at EBGames didn't even know Guild Wars had an expansion)

I live in the same area. Gamestop knew what was going on. They didn't have the preorder goodies at first, but they got them in later.
