Right, Shelter will die in seconds, which is why you bring Soul Twisting as the elite. Also, in case the Ritualist messes up and can't kill Shelter before it dies, he can bring a backup spirit, like Pain (something simple) for his sacrifice.
Francis Demeules
Bring Dissonance as a Ritualist Communer or Wailing Weapon as a Channeler
Disrupting attacks as an Assassin (exhausting Failure and that lead that I dont remember the name). Maybe you will not do lot dmg but you alway interrupt her skills

Bloodied Blade
You could bring the assassin skill that Interrupts, Knocks Down, and Dazes...that should make pretty quick work.
Silent Kitty
All it takes is warriors who are willing to die for the cause and don't run around when they get hurt. Rangers who have interupts equiped. An Ele and a monk who keep a safe distance, and shear determination.
In the long run Glint will stop healing himself.

I did it last night with my mo/me as part of my quest for the Tyrian Protector title. I specced 12 domination, 12 inspiration, 7 divine favor (since my only even worthwhile low end weapon was 5 DF) and had 4 interrupts, Wastrel's Worry, Mantra of Recall and Inspired Hex for energy, and rez spell.
I had 7 henchies along. I equipped a 5-10 dmg wand + peppermint shield.
Unfortunately only Cry of Frustration worked on Glint as her abilities are all skills rather than spells. It was enough though, interrupting the healing and spamming WW on her for 53 dmg every couple of seconds.
There were actually only a few deaths in that battle, which I found odd. Did they make her easier to kill or reduce her damage?

just solo her and reap the benefits like a pr0

There are so many different options, but if you want a FOOL proof way, all you need is:
1. A Necro with Spinal Shivers and maxed out Curses.
2. A Ranger that drops Winter.
The necro should be able to keep up Spinal Shivers constantly, which will interrupt Glint constantly as long as Glint is being attacked.
The rest of the party is cannon fodder.

^^^--- Add to that warriors and rangers using elemental weapons, not physical. Or bring Greater Conflag. also.

Everyone seems to have a good way to kill gint, for my protector title I just had a guildie Ele go Air and spam blinding flash as the warriors just hit her with their weapons. Went done in under 5 mins. No one Died...seemed pretty smooth

Just have a counter for each of her 4 skills and form your strategy based on what people can bring.
some decent/good things to bring (depending on your character class):
grenth's balance, wild blow, wild strike (i doubt mirrored stance works :P), greater conflagration (for the stance, dont use if she's hibernating or dont hit her), diversion, dolyak signet, armor of earth, guilt, spinal shivers, savage shot, hex removal, blinds, distracting shot/blow, backfire, echo, arcane echo, blood ritual/bip.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Glint
Crystal Bonds
Hex Spell (monster only). Remove 1 enchantment from target. For 15 seconds, target foe is encased in Crystal Bonds. Target movement is drastically reduced and target may not be the target of enchantments.
Crystal Haze
Hex Spell (monster only). For 30 seconds, target foe and all nearby foes lose 1 Energy regeneration and suffer exhaustion whenever they use a skill that costs Energy.
Crystal Hibernation
Skill (monster only). For 20 seconds, gain 7 Health regeneration. Whenever you would take elemental damage, gain an equal amount of Health instead.
Jagged Crystal Skin
Stance. (monster only) For 10 seconds, whenever you are hit by physical damage, nearby foes take 100 damage.

I guess the screen shot says it all.
Killed Glint with 1 human (me) and 7 henchies. Left Orion behind. Used Pet to tank. Interrupts to keep Glint helpless, and poison to keep her health going down. Nothing fancy. Fast. 3 or 4 minutes tops.

One of my rangers did this with a PUG yesterday. We also used poison, and we were all loaded up with interrupt skills. Nobody died and she went down easily.
Lithium,
55hp^^ jus take one with you for the end to tank the dmg then every1 else just kills em. Wud advise taking SS necro.

You've never tried this bonus have you. To use the 55hp tank you'd need to devote half a team to keeping them alive. Crystal Haze (easily removed with Inspired but thats besides the point). Crystal Bonds, a very spammable skill (seems so anyway) that removes 1 enchantment and stops you been targetted by more for x seconds. Unless you can somehow keep a permanent cover enchantment up over Prot Spirit, that 55hp tank is nothing but a waste of space. Prot Spirit can be used to keep ANY ally alive, you don't need 55hp to be kept alive you know.
Only take 1 tank... they're pretty useless when Crystal Skin hits. SS just isnt effective... it'd be useful for the rest of the mission but would do so little to her. It takes nothing special to kill her. I did it with 5 henchman (Stefan/Little Thorn dropped shortly after Jagged Crystal Skin started), left them 2 dead and just kept at it. Ended up with 0 energy by misreading the Haze (thought it was spells only
) Didn't have a single condition inflicting skill on my bar at all (ranger). Distracting stops her healing and just spammed Penetrating and Punishing when i could.

I tend to agree with Evilsod here. Doesn't take a special build to beat Glint with a henchie or mostly henchie team. Just some interrupts and some skill. I think it's actually easier with to kill Glint with henchies than with humans. Henchies are reliable in a way that humans aren't. If you have it, bring some interrupts, enchantment stripping, degen. Otherwise, interrupts are enuf.

Just a thought, but...
A warrior with Wild Blow to deal with the stance woudl work.
Or: A *single* mesmer(/r).
diversion (on the stance)
Inspired Hex (no recharge since it's monster only hexes...and it's free. Pwned. At least, it should work like this, anyone wanna test it?)
Cry of Frustration, Leech Sig, or w/e to interrupt her other skill. Or go R secondary for distracting shot and use a bow. :P
It seems like it should work.

(Video of my Guild pwning Glint)
Easiest way to kill Glint - Bring a tank with an elemental damage weapon and Wild Blow.
Bring one or two Mes (primary or seconday) with Inspired Hex, as you can see in the vid, Inspired Hex doesn't cap Glint's hexes so it basically becomes a hex removal with 0 recharge.
Bring a Ranger with Distracting Shot to interrupt Glint's main heal move.
Battleplan is to just let the tank take it all, remove hexes/stance when they popup and interrupt Crystal Hibernation, a couple of minutes and Glint is dead.

nothing is free in life. you only get the energy from inspired hex/enchant IF you capture the skill. Otherwise like in the case of glint or kanaxai it strips the spell with no recharge, but costs the 5 or 10 energy to cast. tested & confirmed.

Not true, check the vid I posted and it shows me using Inspired Hex about three times in the space of ten seconds, all three times getting energy from it.

killed her today: 2 tanks, me as a necro and an ele. was pretty easy.
the only thing that we had to do is get away from each other so that her crystal haze don't touch both of us

Last night managed it to solo her with henchmen. It actually isn't very hard with the right set of professions and a little luck.
I brought everyone but Orion, because his AoE makes her run and running may result in switching targets, which isn't a good thing.
First I cast the good ol' Greater Conflagration + Winter combo to convert almost all damage into cold damage. Then, just pick up the egg and attack her. The lucky part was where she immediately aggroed on the warrior henches and didn't go for one of the squishies. Stefan went down pretty soon, due to the monk henches suffering from massive exhaustion (no hex removal), but I ressed him with the signet and from there on the monks were able to keep everyone alive. At about 50% health I cast Spinal Shivers and kept it up all the time (hex duration is only 50% on Glint, so I just cast it as soon as it recharged). Needless to say, with everyone dealing cold damage, all she got off was her Crystal Skin, which didn't do jack because there was no physical damage. One time, however, when I had her down to about 1/3, she got her Hibernation off because I had to re-cast the spirits and Spinal Shivers went out just in that moment. Which didn't do her much good, though, just took a little longer in the end. One short shock moment was, when she aggroed on Alesia, shortly before going down, but she didn't attack her more than two or three times, before focussing back on one of the tanks (stupid AI
).
Price of Failure + Reckless Haste was quite nice to both damage her a little and impair her damaging capability, although not too effective, due to the mentioned hex duration reduction.

When i needed to kill glint for the title on my necro, I just brought 1 stance tank, 1 air ele (for blinding flash and lighting orb), and an interupt ranger with winter. I brought some hexes and spinal shivers. The other 4 were henchies.

Finally managed to kill her yesterday and have my title!
I started a group myself in order to be able to check whether people really did understand how to kill her. If not, I could kick em (after explaining and not listening of course).
Mission itself is long and boring and above all tooooo easy. Well, finally at glint I told everyone to get behind me and other warrior. One ele of course didnt and died instantly after starting the bonus. After that with two rangers poisoning and interrupting it all went easy! Except when the stance killed me because either one of the rangers or the warrior didnt wield an elemental weapon and gave me the 100 dmg each hit.
I still need my monk and mesmer to do this, so if you need help, let me know!

I love everyone here, thank you. After some frustrating unsuccessful PUG runs at this, my guild went in with all these tips and we absolutely DESTROYED Glint. I had to heal maybe 2 people?
Protector of Tyria! Thanks again all~!

I henched this as a Ranger with 1 interrupt, and had very few problems. I had to rez one of the Henchies, but they were actually doing pretty well. 1st time I fought Glint, so didn't really know what to expect. Is it usually hard to do?
