Ditto to everything so far, but I wanted to call out this one in particular:

Amen to that! I could seriously pace around checking out chicks and their armor all night (hah so if you see me staring at you sometime be nice).

And I ain't being no male pig here, either, because I'm female.

I, too, like some of the community; I really need to meet more new people out there (beyond my RL friends and my guildies, of which there are 7 of us total), though. So hey, if anyone needs a friendly green haired lvl 20 Necro or a nice lvl 9 Monk who's still hanging out around Old Ascalon, give me a shout.

I love that there's great communities like this to hang out in.

I also really like that the game can be whatever you make it. If you want to create a character that you just have fun with and do missions and quests, you can. Want a character that you can keep around just to play with lower level friends? It's still fun. Want to make a super farmer for UW? Yep, you can do it. It's a game that the casual and hardcore players can enjoy, and few games really span that.

And I like it that Rurik dies. I just about threw a big drunken party. Hell, my guild still talks about having a party, drinking vodka, and pissing on his grave.

While I really don't care if it's free or not, I do like the fact that I don't feel like I HAVE to play because I need to get my money's worth. I'm already getting it - and I can take my time and just have fun. I've put in 90 hours on Elinora; I'm not even Ascended yet.

And Shift-PrtScn.

-No monthly fee
-Streaming updates (instead of damn huge patches)
-Attack and counterattacks remind me of Magic the gathering (my favorite card game)
-Strategy system is like MTG
-Graphics "own" WoW , Everquest and Lineage II
-8 skill slots means just because you are experienced doesn't mean you do not have to think (like in some MMO's where you have all your 1000 skills at thre touch of a button and can choose to use them whenever)
-Expensive armor is for aesthetics ONLY
-Time playing doesn't mean skill
-Alliance system in Factions

reading over all of your posts made me remember a lot the things I'd forgot to mention...I definitely concur about the female characters--I've got a soft spot for goth chicks, so all of my characters are kind of decked out like that (yeah, I'm a guy that plays female characters...but if you've got to look a the backside of your character the whole time, it might as well be a hot chick).

The streaming updates--ingenious. No monthly fee--wonderful. Many more, I'm delirious on cough medicine lol
