In past day Days (I farm for like 20minutes a day) I've gotten 2 Sup prot runes, and a Sup Curse rune.

The Luxon ettins drop better.

I did so man Luxon ettins and they dropped nada.
I gave up and cashed the quest.
The normal ettins drop more.

Anyone try farming beetletun ettins with a minion master? it's a nice way to mix it up, it's fast and I haven't died yet, but like any mming it's alot of boring micromanagement...

Hmm, is it just me, or does the zone you're playing from affect drops. I mean, the other day, i switched my account to Europe for kicks: new market, new people, more favor : P. But, when i go do ettin runs, the drops SUCK! i mean, when i was in american districts, i would get on average a minimum of one gold pauldron and 3-4 purples per run. See above. However, ever since switching to Europe, i haven't gotten a SINGLE gold pauldron, and a max of 2-3 purples per run. So, is it based on zone, or am I just going insane?

I recall back in the day when I was bringing my first char through the game I noticed that the Ettins in Kyrta gave good drops...

So Recently I have been farming Charcole from the fire imps in North Kyrta with my MM and I thought, why stop there why not hit up the ettins and cash in on the good drops.

Well so far the best I have to show for my efforts is a maj vigor rune. I have gone on about a dozen runs in the last 2 days. I Get gold Ettin pauldrins every run, and when i ID them they turn out to be Major Runes...WTF? I think the drops have been nerfed. Maybe I just have crappy luck...
