Guild Wars Gender Survey

My sister and I got into a conversation concerning gender preferences for characters on Guild Wars. I think that the vast majority of female characters on Guild Wars are controlled by actual females (like real-life girls). While she takes the opposing side-believing that 50% or more of the females on guild wars are controlled by males.

We are both supporters of the game, and play compulsively. So, if you are reading this and have an opinion, or just want to put in your vote ("Yes, I am male and have a female character" or "Yes, I'm female and have a male character" or whatever) post it here. Or, maybe you've spoken to people who play Guild Wars and the vast majority of your friends (either gender) pick a certain gender for their characters, let us know.

I don't think it matters that much, but to get you started...

I am a male and have 2 male characters and 1 female character. The War armor looks too bulky on a male, but the females armor looks slick.

I'm a female. My main character is male, and my alt is a female.

The majority of female characters in the game are played by males.

Just look on some statistics from other online games.

I am Male, i have 4 characters going, and they are all Female.
This is just because they are more cosmetically pleasing on the eye while playing. The Male characters just look either too bulky, or plain ridiculous imho.

I'm a male, and i have a female elementalist cause they look much better than the males. I also have a male monk because they look better than the female monks. But I admit, the female avatars all do look very...impossibly good.

err, my friend's a MALE but he plays on a hot lookin ranger.

I am female and i play female character. If i was to play a warrior, i would play male tho (probably same with mesmer since they are pretty cute).

I have an elementalist (some male ele looks ok but they are still weird), a necromancer (male one look sick.. they should go see a doctor really), a monk(i have no preference between male and female for that class but i've chosen female because of the cute hairs[which everyone seem to have T_T]), and a ranger (played her as female because of my friend begged me to play a female ranger.. i personally would have taken male since they look very hot).

I never cared playing male or female in a game.. I take the one that look the coolest to me.

I am male and i play two of each, my male characters are necro and warrior, cause they are full size and they are as tall as characters can be. And my other two are monk and ranger and they are the two smallest possible sizes in the game

I am male and play what looks best. So, obviously...so far all my characters have been female...

Warrior = no preference
Ranger = male
Elementalist = female
Monk = lean towards female
Necro = lean towards female
Mesmer = female

im male, all my chars will be female, id rather stare at a chicks ass all day long than a guys, and that the female char's look so much better than the males.

I'm a female and I have two female characters - a necromancer & elementalist.
I know several guys that play GW as female characters though because they like the female character designs better.

I agree, the women do look like some kind of super models.. don't they? At least the Rangers do.
