I have 4 characters.

3 males and 1 female. The female character is an El/Ne, level 11. Actually she is further than all the other characters I got.

I chose female, because I already had 3 male characters and because I thought a female elementalist looks better.

Oh, and I'm male btw.

I believe its more than 50%. I know lots and lots of male players who only play females... as others have said, because of the looks.

Yeh the male warrior why is he so fat cant they make a normal size warrior. There should be new amendments on charcters to change how fat or thin u want them to be

i am male, my main is female and my next highest alt is female...i play females because they look better from my angle ...tomb raider introduced me to the pleasures of staring at female ass while i play. I also know a few guys who have 4 female alts, and know guys in other games that never play male toons.

the reason why most men playing women toons are over 25 is most likely due to the fact that they are way past the point of sexually defining themselves...ie they are secure in their sexuality, and don't feel their studliness is affected by playing a female toon.

kinda like the guy that turns the tables by saying 'yeah wanna make out?' when one of his peers slings the common teenage insult of 'you're gay' at him.

Male, have 3 male chars. I would find it slightly odd to play a female char myself. I want to role play as a male character because that represents my attitude and what I'd like people to view me as - a male. While I do agree that female chars are more "attractive" than the males it's not enough for me to change. While I don't often ask specifically a large proportion of female chars are most certainly male.

I am male, my main is female, all of my alts are male.

I have 2 males, 2 females.

My main is male, my pvp warrior is male (only because he is based off a popular internet craze) and then my other two alts are female.

I always go male as my main, female as my alts.

And im male, obviously.

I am male..Lady Thalia is my main..girl of course..Alexandria Ownage is my second..another girl..then i got King Aemo..male..then Sword Arcani..male..

I do infact believe that more than 50% of the female characters in the game are males, justn from experience.. Sure i have met some actual females who play females chars..but ive come to see that more female chars are played by males..I for instance, play them because they look more "sleek" and..well beautiful looking chars

Male chars are so gay IMHO...they look to bulky, and there are some ugly lookin combinations ive seen on male chars lol...Female chars got all the style..

I'm a male... with a male character. My wife plays with a female character... and we have two alternates that act as extra storage and "Sales" (we sell weapons, items, dye, etc through them).

If it wasn't for my inventory being full I wouldn't use the alternates for selling things (which one is a Male, and one is a female).

I'm male and i only play male. Don't like to play female because some ppl asume too much etc etc..

Fact is:
The more ridiculously a female char name is, the bigger is the chance that a male is behind that char.

I could give some examples but most are morphed names with R rated meaning ^^.

I'm 100% hermaphrodite and play a female monk who i hope 1 day to enjoy moonlit walks and romantic dinners with. Just waiting for technology to catch up.

I am a male but play a female Ele. But I also play a male warrior and a male Ranger. If I play a necro I'll probably go with the female and also the female mesmer. Just better to look at imo

and yes I am married with 2 kids. Just celebrated my 6th anniversary too

I'm a male, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I have a female Ranger for no reason other than she jiggles when the arrows fly

And before the peanut gallery lynches me, I do have a girlfriend. She just doesn't know how to use a bow...

I usually make female characters since they look much better than male.

I have a female warrior, i dont like the look of the male warrior, too bulky.

Male monk, looks better than female and male suits monk class better.

I am a male, playing three characters, all of which are male. I played girls a few times in beta, because yeah, they're hotter. But now that I'm actually playing the game for real, I would rather everyone be able to equate my avatar to my actual gender.

The only possible exception I'd make to this rule is the warrior class, because the male warriors all look like freakin' idiots.
