(I happen to ne on Kurzick side, 7500 points, but I have no idea what is the advantage or disvantage of it all)

Get 10,000 and you're a friend to Kurzick, or an honorary Kurzick. Complete a long quest and you will get to travel to a working Kurzick mission (piece of advice; bring a good monk).
