There was a new 2 handed Blood Magic staff at a collector, but I wasnt able to get all the required items in time to get it.

Dammit, Dammit. I don't know where else to post this but did anyone try to get factions items to their normal chars ? It just popped into my head. You get a factions char to saltspray beach, then you get a guildie to go there through the guildhall and trade with you. Then sign into your proph char and there you have it, factions items out early. To bad, its too late to try this out..

its already been mentioned that you couldn't trade between campaigns for the event...so no, it wouldn't work.

.....they even wen't as far as removing the chests from dreadnoughts, which had a high factions weapon drop rate in tyria

I cant wait till Factions come! Im so excited right now ^^ lol. Im buying all the new weapons. Been saving gold and deleting chars for that and ofcourse.. The armor!

Well, it's a sword, assassins only use daggers. I suppose you could make a swordsmanship assassin with a shinobi blade for effect though.

That reminds me, during the last preview, i tried using all kinds of weapons (except hammers) with a male rit, and it kinda looks like they're blind and/or weak, like when they fire a bow, it looks like there's oh so much recoil...looks funny really.

The Bo Staff requirement of Illusion magic troubles me. I really hope it's elemental damage and req. act much like the Shadow and Ghost staffs of Chap 1, otherwise I will have to find a new weapon for my monk...

I think my Bo Staff had a Fire req. I'm not at home now, so I can't check my screenshots, but I don't remember it being a Mesmer staff. So it very well could be like Shadow, Ghostly and Raven staffs.

Well I know they said they wouldn't be in the preview event, so I'm not sure. I personally wouldn't mind them being green items. Green items have made my characters so much better, I'm just not someone who likes to go out and farm solo, so getting a lot of money for perfect items was hard.

Mostly I want them to be green, so that I can have useable versions of them without having to pay big bucks....and because some of the designs were very nice.

And I just double checked on my Bo Staff, and it was a Fire req, so unless its some wierd staff that Mesmers and Elementalists have, I think it would be safe to assume that it will be like the new Shadow, Raven and Ghostly Staff.

absolutely nothing. The only bow skins that I like from prophecies are the Longbow (with the 2 strips), mursaat horn bow, and dragon horn bow. I'm not really liking any Factions bows right now. Meh. The necro staff looks cool though.

Hmmm...

Is it just me or are some of the weapons sized incorrectly? The Jitte should be about the size of a sai, maybe a little longer, but not much. And I'm curious as to why they didn't just call the shinobi blade a wakazashi? It's about the right size and shape...

Just some thoughts...
