i was expecting cool new ranger armors like the ones kurzick NPCs are wearing... but these are just crap.
probably won't buy the game if there's nothing new worth farming for.

A small (or rather large) suggestion, I think that gwonline.net, guildwarsguru.com, guildwiki and eventually other sites should organise big donation actions (excuse me for bad spelling and word chose) so that they can buy factions 15k armor and gather more information this way.
I would give my FPE money away with pleasure (currently 3k or something) as it'll just dissapear with that big mass delete.. Think fast, think coördinated..

Tyria seems to yield the bigger "$lut" factor in terms of armor (skin shown), the show more skin in tyria. and though sentinal armor looks AWSOME!!! it will be everywhere in the first week, then old very fast. I just hope they updated the Fissure Armors to look godly this time 
I would offer all the gold I make to see some 15k sets, and as sentinal is the biggest I say do that one.
I think this new armor really captures the orient feel, mesmer females look cool now.

The 15k faction armor (which is what requires amber/jade) is generally in the first area after you do the mission that requires 10k faction. The Luxon 15k armorer, for example, is in the Leviathan Pits, which is where you end up after you do the Gyala Hatchery PvE mission, which you need to complete the 10k Luxon faction quest to get into.

As you can see, only leggings and mask (I think it's the same as 1.5k) are missing ... It took me all the afternoon (I'm French) to get enough money and amber to get it.

Well, the beta test is almost over (over for me, since I have an early day tomorrow. Fully enjoyed all of it, and enjoyed the time spent in Cantha. Now, I've noticed something different with the skins posted for the female Minion Master armor then what I got in game. I picked mine up on the Kurzich side, along with a couple really nice necro toys from collectors. Since the inventories will be nuked, all I can say is I hope they don't change anything before we get to play the game for real
