Official Bug Reports from Factions & Head Start Event
Lord Sojar
Ok, seriously, I don't know why ANET isn't fixing this mission at ALL! The Vizunah Square mission is SO glitched! You cannot pass it, it's impossible. Togo and Mhenlo stop moving, stand there like dumbasses, and say follow them. After you fight the third area waves, there is a door, which they are supposed to speak with the guard on the other side, and unlock. But guess what? Oh, that's right! THEY ARE NOT THERE!!! @!#%#@%!! WTF is that?!?! Fix it ANET, FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Loki-
It's not impossible, just as long as Togo and Mhenlo don't get stuck, it's very completeable. Even if the Canthan team doesn't show, it's completeable.
Arkantos
OMG calm down. Its not glitched, I've done it.
Ado
I've done it too but instead of Mhenlo and Togo getting stuck, I got stuck myself. Luckely that was after the last wave of afflicted. My team completed the rest of the mission with ease.
Silent Coyote
From my experience the only time Mhenlo and Togo get stuck is if the team with Mhenlo run the start to the first wave, it was the only time it would glitch for me. So, don't run the start and hope you have a good second team that can keep Togo alive until you get there.
ElinoraNeSangre
We tried this one over and over tonight and could not get through it. Finally, someone gave us this advice which worked amazingly well:
-Do not run to the cut scene; kill every group of enemies and stay together.
-When you get there, immediately start killing stuff but DON'T run down the stairs. This allows you to kill off some guys which helps for the next part.
-Don't skip the cut scene. Someone might die. It happens. But going through it, we've been fine.
-Don't talk to Master Togo (weird as that is).
No idea if it all is needed, but we did it and bam, right through, no problem.
It IS bugged but it can also be worked around.

it's not impossible, took me several tries yesterday, it's harder on the other team since it's usually 1-2 of them and rest henchies also creating monks in Factions isn't that popular so them keeping Togo alive is tricky.
the only bug is Mhenlo/Togo getting stuck when you rush to the cut scene, other than that, the mission works

This mission is super hard, especially when the Canthan team either doesn't show, or decides that it would be funny to just quit (had this happen to me, after 3 consecutive teams of 1 Player and the rest hench, which can't seem to keep Togo alive). I don't think it's broken, but man those Canthan teams arn't worth anything half the time.

I have tried not running there, they still stand there like noobz, or Togo dies... I HATE THIS MISSION!

Hmmm, not wishing to gloat but I found this mission surprisingly easy with a B/P group after reading all the horror stories people were posting. We basically ran through it in just over 24 minutes.
One thing I did notice was the totally blinkered way people were going about organising a group. Me and about 8 other rangers sat spamming LFG for at least half an hour without a single response, hence we formed a B/P group. All people want is monks, nukers and warriors.
Is this maybe a back lash from Tombs B/P?

haven't heard or experienced one. DId it twice. no problems. finished it both times.
We even take advantage of the two getting stuck to remove the possibilities of them dying.
Foreigner all players. Local 1 player with henchies.

Take a healing Ritualist. Did so today, made it at my first try as the only healing human in two groups.
Healing Rit is basically a half-assed condition removal monk that, with some luck, is capable of keeping people alive for those 2 seconds Sister Tai wastes on casting her uber Signet of Divinefavorlessness.
And given that there are like 3 human monks in total in Factions, it's all help you can get :/

Well, here is the good news. Finally got past this disgusting missions after 31 tries and 4 hours of my life wasted trying. Dragon's is next. I want 15K armor on my monk and warrior now! :P
Zaxan Razor
This mission is do-able every time, if you dont skip the am-feh.
Mhenlo and Togo have never gotten stuck, and ive done the mission 5 times (out of 7 attempts) helping guildies through.

except bugs .. the problem has always been the same ..
NO HEALING AT ALL
the Monk hench does nothin and is always the first down, idling in the middle of the fight, just watching the scene. how can u handle huge waves of monsters w/o any heal and no time to raise a fallen hench
Vaga
We know its beatable but obviously there is a bug so stop just posting that you beat it and what-not.
General Surena
The mission can be done, I might be repeating myself but all I had was another warrior [Cybah] and henchies. I used Ward against Melee, Shields Up and Watch Yourself, the rest I put into a full offense. Cybah went full offense. It can be done, most of the missions can be henched fully. Even the last one.

Nadine
i have spent like 60k for my guild, but i wanna get my armor, and how to get it without jadeites????

anyone knowticed theres no merchant in arborstone?

In the explorable area "Archipelagos" south of Cavalon there is a boss for every proffession except 2 monk bosses (with the same elite) and no assassin boss. I'm assuming this is a bug and not ANet just hating assassins (although after the Tahnnakai Temple mission where you have NO time to cap the assassin elite I am starting to have my doubts).
Zeal
Kurzick Faction Rewarder don't reply she just stands so u can't change ur faction points. This is a HUGE problem i mean HUGE!
Laibeus Lord
5k elite skill capture dont kick in sometimes. I lost a total of 15k out of 5 elite captures, 2 worked.
titles don't sometime count elite capture, rare item id, and treasure.
the faction rewards, important one. its hard to finish the other faction if your alliance is with the opposite faction. we need to spend the faction points down to get back talking NPCs that's aligned with our alliance

I've been noticing some strange damage while playing my Assassin, Ancestral Rage (Rit) does around 240-300 damage at times to me/entire party which is completely devestating, happened on many more than 1 occasion. Elementalists, bosses especially seem to do insane amounts of damage, with AL70 armor +15 while attacking I was hit multiple times with a 350+ damage fireball, I thought perhaps it was a fluke, but time and time again he did this much damage (The elementalist boss outside of Aspenwood). Additionally Argo does some pretty massive damage although I assume this was intended. I have not experienced this problem on any other character and it only seems to be vs elemental damage, even seeing things like 250 damage + burn from mind burn. It has me wondering if assassin armor vs elements is somehow bugged. I was using the +15 armor while attacking set at first but for the majority of tests switched to the AL 70 +energy set (forget the name). Dont have this problem at all with my monk or necro from Tyria with 15k armor. Someone mentioned to me it may be some form of "spell critical" which sure I could possibly see, but if so, its happening ALOT, like 90% of the time. 370 damage per wave from ms etc..... with so few people and having to hench alot this is a bit frustrating, a couple guildmembers have also noted this problem with elementalist type bosses, so anyone else have these problems?
Couple other non-related bugs:
1) Shadowform gives a spellbreaker message when you cast a spell on them
2) Healer hench doesnt like to heal sometimes, and wastes alo of time with signet of devotion with (as far as I can tell) only 8 divine, which is near worthless
3) Had a strange, yet beneficial bug occur on the kraken mission where 2 spears spawned.
4) not sure about the diffuclty level of the "jade brotherhood" mobs, most of the time I can get by without dying, this took much practice and still isnt an exact science, with full hench they can be a little rough powerwise
5) Aggro range seems odd, sometimes groups 3-4 aggro circles away will assist, by design or a bug?
6) Sometimes the AI breaks, especially with the "last stand" mission I was able to kill 60% of the enemies at range with a long bow without ever being aggroed
7) Vizun(sp) Square mission, completed this with 3 characters but on my monk I must have easily spent 4+ hours trying it, unfortunatly, every time the cantha group was a player and a bunch of henchmen and togo was dead by the time we got there, or the few times he wasnt dead he died DURING the cutscene
8) Vihzun square, sometimes mhenlo/Togo get stuck and wont follow making completion impossible.
9) Sometimes (about 30% of the time) Afflicted ritualists wont be interupted while casting flesh of my flesh when using entangling asp for the knockdown, [possible they are using some anti kd ability I didnt notice]
10) the missions in the tunnels where you destroy the spirit rifts and constructs is a bit tough atm with so few players its hard just to get a second or third person to hold the items. It -IS- completely henchable but you get no benefit from the urn/spear (especially if you're melee like I was) which makes the mission much more difficult in general. Also there is no time to capture the assassin skill.
11) Im sure there are others im forgetting, there's the basic list but the crazy elementalist damage is what concerns me the most, for 350 damage from a fireball:
Assuming an attainable level of 17 (12+sup rune+staff) should do around
147 damage, so overall using the formula
D = B*2^([60-EAL+GDM]/40 + GSM)
D = B*2^(-25+24.6)/40 + 0)
D = 147*2^-.01
D = 147*.993 = 145.971 Damage
So to acheive 350 damage on a fireball this would require a fire attribute
of 29. -OR- aproximatly a 42% damage increase from some "unknown" source that occurs -MOST- of the time. (I got the forumla for damage calc from here:http://www.rpgstars.com/articles/guildwars-damage.php) IF YOU assume an Effective armor level of ZERO vs this same spell, the damage calculates almost out exactly to 350ish give or take a few, So this brings me back to my first speculation that perhaps there is some bug preventing the armor from using its AL for some unknown reason.
Well, here's the numbers, hopefully someone can make sense of this stuff.
(I know you can get 2 higher with elemental power, but I never see them using this skill ever, so I left it out of the calculations, wouldnt have made up the vast difference anyway)

Very small proberlems
but some times hair on the char is not fixed on char so you can see threw certain areas check out ritualist male and pan down a bit you should be able to see that its not fixed on,
Anouther one is when you /sit in water you hair dissapers (how funny this is its still quite bad) this also has the same effect with textured grass.

In this mission there is a well know bug where Mhenlo will not talk to Togo and thus prevents the missions from being completed. Below is a description of what is happening and how to fix it:
The Problem
The Tyrian party guiding Mhenlo down the allyway is confronted by 3 Am Fah groups and IS supposed to kill each one on the way down. Mhenlo's A.I. script instructs him to follow the pcs down the path using "invisible" waypoints. The problem is that the Canthan party is usually unable to hold off the horde long enough for the Tyrian party to get there. In order to help the Canthan side save Togo the Tyrian party will run past the Am Fah groups and reach the cut-scene (instantly transporting both parties to the bottom of the alleyway where Togo is). Unfortunately, doing this before Mhenlo has reached all of his programmed waypoints causes the glitch. What makes this worse is that if both parties skip the cut-scene before Mhenlo has a chance to reach the bottom on the alleyway, he will stay where the Tyrian party left him and most likely be killed by the Am Fah. Letting the cutscene run long enough so that Mhenlo is transported to the bottom of the alleyway in order to act out his role in the cut-scene will prevent him from being killed by the Am Fah. After the cut-scene there is a big battle and if you do manage to keep both Mhenlo and Togo alive, Mhenlo will run into the wall just beyond the first set of doors. His A.I. script is still instructing him to go to the next waypoint in the alleyway thus preventing him from triggering the popup talk with Togo.
The Fix
After you have finished the first battle against “The Afflicted” and saved Togo, you must go back up the alleyway and clear out all of the Am Fah groups. Next, have the party send ONE person with some kind of life sacrificing skill (I suggest "Infuse Health") return to Mhenlo's current position and use it (on him if it is "Infuse Health"). Mhenlo will then proceed to heal you. The trick is to use the skill just far enough away from him as to make him move toward you in order to heal you. Once you have him chasing you, run up the path back to the beginning of the alleyway. If he stops chasing you simply use the life sacrificing skill again. Do this until he is far enough up the path that he can move to the scripted waypoint on his own. When he reaches it he will stop, run back down the path, and continue on with the mission as normal.
Hope this helps someone either complete the mission or fix this bug.
