I have pre-ordered the game, I have my in-game, Preorder items.. I have my 2 extra Character slots, and they are active at the moment. however, I cant create a new 'factions' character... I click on one of my empty slots, and then 'Create', Then 'Role Playing Character', I click on 'Factions', and I get a box that comes up that says "Coming April 28th"

Some kind of bug maybe, try exiting and restarting the game? Give it a min before logging in as there maybe streaming updates (Yellow Lighting Symbol) going on still.
Failing that use one of your Chapter 1 characters in the meantime.

I am having this exact same problem. Under my key info it says i have axcess to both chapters. To make things even worse, the quest to get to canta does not appear in LA.

Accordining to fellow players and the update page, u are to get the quest from Firstwatch Sergio in LA, he should then send u outside to LA, but for a few of us, we are not getting the quest, nor the ability to create new Factions toons.

Now, I can't access the Faction. Although I typed the key again, it showed up" this key is in use". I don't have two extra slows.

I tried to use the 10 hours trial, but it didn't work.
I creates new account (e-mail~~3 different accounts~~all show up
all of three accounts are in use.) I don't believer it.
It's already 2:30 hours pass, and I still can't find a way to get in .
I don't want to miss the chance to get the masks.

I have a possible fix!!! Well, at least it worked for me, after not being able to play for the last hour and a half. I created a new RP charater and entered ch.1 with it, then i logged out and when i logged back in Factions was available! GL Guys

I installed factions... added my key to my existing account yet i cant play the factions RP, have no two new char slots, cant even make a pvp assassin or rit. any ideas or am i just being a noob?

From amazon.co.uk, I pre-ordered Guild Wars: Factions... the next day, I just wanted to check out the order and it said 'amazon recommends' or whatever and it listed Guild Wars: Factions Pre-Order Package... And that's the one which contains the 24h early key and everything. It came free as long as you pre-ordered Factions at the same time (which I didn't, but got refund for being noob and not reading T&Cs).
So yeah, you may have missed the actual pre-order package thing... I thought a pre-order of Factions would be enough :O

With my existing characters, using /preorder will give me the Rt and A items. I also have six character lots. But it won't let me make Factions PvE characters! It just says that Factions comes out on April 28, apparently as if I had no pre-order key.

Sure, you can get faction. Just do some GVG, HA, stuff like that.

First , the guild hall npcs didnt wanted to sell me a guild hall : we waited a day. Now we have bought the guild hall, but it dosnt appears ( i know where to look^^)... Its like i never bought the guild hall, but the sigil is gone..

Upon completion of the tutorial, it was stated that I'd earned 2000 xp, when in actuality, I think it was about 200 xp. Just a minor thing . . .

I am not sure if this has been reported yet, but there is a quest (sorry i do not remember which one) where you have to talk to Budo to complete the quest. However, the quest log says that we need to speak to a Bujo (another NPC in a different part of Cantha).

NPC have a very difficult time navigating through the cities. i.e. BukPek something and the Wxxxx Bazzar. Guildie and I were going to the undercity and hench got lost and we died

The quest is bugged, I spent about 45 minutes killing off all the Crimson Skull. Then I can't even talk to Jataro, he has the green exclimation but just keeps walking back and forth.

You can't go to Tyria with Cantha chars. It starts sending you to Lion's Gate, then you get sent right back to Kaineng Center.

Since the update with the titles and getting to Cantha with my Warrior and Mesmer.
I went exploring on the island, and explored about 16.1% finding every nook and cranny for all the areas to the west. This was on my warrior who also only had ran straight to the marketplace from Kaineng Center.
My mesmer has uncovered the same area on the mainland (run to marketplace), even a little more actually, and uncovered 2 other areas on the island (Jaya and Lagoon), and still has less than 16%.
But anyways, has anyone else experienced weird stuff like this while exploring? I switched back and fourth to my chars to see if I overlooked something, but no. Somethings jacked up with it.
