My most useful right now is probably Mark of Protection. It's such a very nice thing to have for PVP.. Our clan had no idea how people were keeping their guys seemingly invulnerable at times, until I discovered this beauty.
EDIT: And if you need to know, Vengeance would probably be my 2nd favorite.

My favorite right now is Shatter Hex. Working with a good Warrior that can do some damage. Right now it does 95 damage to all foes close to him/her when a hex is removed. In PvE the Mesmer is a support class(unless theres a Mob Healer around) and thats probably the best direct support I can give to our tanker. Remove a potentally danerous Hex and smack all those around him for 95 damage.
Also finally got Epedemic(realitivly new to the game, my first Char is a Me/N at level 12 or 13 now), that could really besome fun.

Arcane Echo - without a doubt. In fact I'm glad I have mesmer as my secondary just for this spell. It’s the only mes spell I use. I think when one spell makes an entire secondary class worthwhile - you’re looking at a good spell. How about one Mark of Protection right after the other, or 2 spell breakers and the list goes on.

Im with Dismal, Archane Echo makes my life easier. Cast Lava Font after Lava font (because of its FAST recharge) in the middle of 6-9 Ettins is also A LOT of fun!

omg nobody mentioned blinding flash! as a monk, a well time blinding can be key, whether its on a warrior thats trying to chop u into little bits, or on something like an ettin that is pounding your tank into the ground.

I am really enjoying Amity elite skill for my monk, seems to keep me alive a bit longer seeing how when warriors rush me, iI cast it and none of them can attack me for 18 seconds, so I can get a few more heals off or run away lol. I also like shield of judgement as well though.
