kukuman will be providing the ventrilo server, based on the meeting that parts of the group had last night. We may also be doing a practice run soon.
Sarus told me that the best/easiest time to do Tombs is in the morning EST, while the worst time is around 11:00 PM EST on Fridays, because that's when the big, bad, tough guilds do their Tomb runs. If we can do it in the afternoon or on the morning of any day, that would be great. Can anyone do it at those times?

Yeah, Im usuallly up very late and sleep in late (like 2pm-3am) but gotta get a job soon so most likely that will change.
I just had pretty good idea though that we could utilize. We should setup an IRC channel, or something like that where we can get on and talk about this stuff and setup times and places, and also maybe even a place where PUGs can form more efficiently. If everyone likes the idea, i could set us up a channel.

Yeah, to compensate for GW lack of a good system for forming groups, I started thinking of ideas. I thought of several ideas all based on using a website or an IRC channel. I also thought about a ranking/feedback system where people who group with very bad players can leave feedback or rank them or leave a comment about it or give them a good rating or something to that sort. Of course there would need to be some sort of flaming prevention to try to hurt somebody else rating. Or some sort of script or setup that people can check to see who is looking for a group, i dunno just some ideas.

Making a channel/forum/site area for this sounds like a great idea. However, I personally would like to make sure that this "advanced PUG" idea is actually effective first, before I ask someone for help in making this system.

You need mIRC or some other IRC client (www.mirc.com). Then you need to connect to GameSurge (GameSurge random US server). Then /join #GWPUGs. Soon as I get some more time ill write up a whole new topic explaining everything in detail.

Then click "add"
3) Add any gamesurge surver. List available at: http://www.gamesurge.net/servers/
4) Click connect to server

I can't really post my attributes, since I tend to change them around fairly often. Sometimes I go pure Aero, with 15 Air Magic (Storm Eye + Major Rune) and Energy Storage 15 (Superior rune). Sometime I divide it up between Air, Energy storage and Protection or healing or smiting. Sometimes I use both Air and Earth, or Fire and Earth, or whatever......The point is, I can't list my guy's attributes because they aren't static.
Also, I might not be able to go on for a while. My computer is getting really screwy, with Blue Screens of Death everywhere. I'll let you guys know when I'll be back.
Finally, I suggest all of us adding each other to our friends list, so we can tell easily how many of us are logged on, making it easier to get a Tombs group up quickly.
And, this is just a thought, but: If we're doing what we're doing, then technically, in a way, we're not forming PUGs, since it's all organized (mostly) beforehand. Just a thought.

Yeah, we had a fairly successful venture last night with our tombs group. We smoked the 1v1, but we lost the 6 man freefor all (and even in that we didnt do too bad for a PUG). Just need to practice to become a little more organized, but it was fun.

Warrior: kd/as, tf axe
mes: can play a little but would rather not
necro: played on a friends nec, was v good, just need to unlock skills now
in uk so that gives you a rough idea of times i can play.
only got 98 fame (rank 2) as i tend to get annoyed after losing a few tombs with random unorganised teams i somehow end up in so go play some CA to unlock skills, lol. message me ingame, im always up for some tombs!
