Rune Seller Complaints Post!!

i hate this patch i just gathered over 30 minors and 20 majors and noone will buy them for more than 50 a minor and 200 a major thanks to this patch !!! ITS CRAP!!!

+1 here there screwing the game and the trading..

they r "against farming" got 2 mules of runes :/

Bah this is so dumb, I spent over 200k on buying 9 amazing superior runes, now I have around 50k... This rune addition just killed the market and many peoples desire to play, all that is left is pvp. There is hardly any point of trading anymore, especially since the only other thing to trade for is weapons, which can be bought from the bloody collectors! I am quickly losing interest in continuing guild wars without the fun of playing the market... good game ncsoft.

Screwing the game? Hardly. Taking back a little ground from farmers? Possibly.

Many people have been giving away minors for next-to-nothing anyway. The rune trader is a very positive addition, IMHO.

I think in the long run this will greatly improve things. I'm glad there are rune traders and OMG the Capture Signet update... *drool*

ive been handing minors out to anyone who wants them for weeks i couldnt even get rid of the things and didnt wanna delete em cause i thought maybe someone might need it

IF people buy the trader's runes the trader will buy for more. It automatically adjusts.

i think there a very bad addition, i just dont feel the need to go out and fight now, because i know all im gunna get is 2xp and maybe 25gold....... its true all there is now is pvp...

there really never was a market for minor runes, its the majors that have been skrewed, there so cheap now...its not worth the effort trying to get them

If you're into trade and farming and such, you might want to look into games such as Eve Online or the Face of Mankind. They have a pretty deep trade system.

im losing interest 2, not just because of the trading gone downhill, but because there isnt much left to do now.. other than pvp, and that is owend by clans and koreans...

I'll shed a tiny tear for all the folks that can't farm, hoard, and gouge buyers any more...

Actually, I do truly feel sorry for them. It's a shame that they can't play the game to have fun, see new sights, enjoy the plot, and most importantly, enjoy the company of friends while smiting evil. Take out all the money and item acquisition in the game and know what I'd do instead? Exactly what I'm doing now; Have fun.

The new update rocks in all ways.

Not even majors were worth dealing with, except for vigor/absorp.
I hated to stand around shouting until somebody noticed, then having to barter etc. It took much too long for a transaction to take place.
Same goes for forum posts, all the time spent organising and checking the posts, and then meeting ingame were simply not worth the measly 2K you often got at most- id much rather take the 200 with a minimum of delay.

Farming was much more rewarding with regards to money/time anyways, especially if you considered that you could get the really great, rare stuff that way.

However, I agree with the previous poster that it sucks having to compete with Koreans :P

Do either of those games have decent pvp or trials? I may consider leaving gw with so little left to do.

Please. This is a great addition. No longer can traders out spam and gouge players for rare runes. Not to mention that you can actually get minor runes now, which almost no one even bothered to sell due to their low return. I applaud GW for an addition that keeps with their no farming theme.

This brings the market in balance by providing an easy avenue from seller to buyer.

If you want that go play FFXI, where the economy is a disaster on pretty much every server.

the plot, ive done that 4 times now... im not interested in that anymore, seeing new sites? ive been everywhere, the only thing left was getting rich....

this is the reason they dont make people pay monthly....no-one would...

How much do minors, majors, and superiors sell to the trader right now? I can't get on until later tonight, but I'm interested XD

So, tell me what happens in one week when every player has bought every superior rune he or she needs. That player then goes and buys the best weapon for his class from a collector for 500 gold. What does that player then do? Monster hunt? Why? Experience? Your max level. Gold? You already have everything you can buy. Pvp? Sure, but for more than 1 hour a day? I don't think so. Everyone who likes this patch is because it just made everything easier for them to get, but what they don't realize is once they have everything, the game loses interest, as it has for me.

You can only buy runes that you have unlocked. Unlocking runes still involves farming your butt off.

I just wanted to chime in with my support of this awesome addition! I had about 10 runes that noone ever wanted, even with my insanely cheap prices. I just pawned them off on the trader for about 6p total. Much more efficient then shouting for hours in LA's ;P.

Now... when we will see a Super Vigor rune on the trader...

Well, if you've unlocked the Superior Vigor, the trader will sell it XD
