Oh yes, most definitely /signed!!
Pleeeeeaase implement this!
Idea: Stylist NPC (Possible Money sink)
21 pages • Page 3
Just another idea to add on and really make it a gold sink:
Have the hair colour you originally choose be your 'natural' hair colour. At the 'Stylist NPC' you can get it dyed another colour (including second tier/third tier colours), but over time it fades away back to the natural one.
This means you have to go back after a while (a week, perhaps?) and get it done again.
Maintenance? Perhaps. Gold sink? Hell yeah, baby!
/signed even if my suggestion isn't implemented

A great suggestion, Gwars is one of the ONLY Online RPs without this. Online games are about diversity and meeting new people to game around with. Expression of creativity and personalization of your character is a huge part of this. This is a no brainer. Not having this is one hexcidecimal away from being a glitch.

Oh. My. God. This is a godly idea! Ive been wanting to make my character look differant for ages but put so much time and effort into it already that I wasnt empowered to delete it and start over. This wouldnt reallyput too much load on the server and it would help ALLOT with inflation. Trust me I see all positives on this one. I wouldnt mind the cost of it. I just want my freakin hair changed. Please implement this. We coould have a tanner (changes skin color) barber (hair) and possibly a gym or pub to change the weight of your character. I love you for posting this.

But really now what possible issue could you have against this idea?
Would it affect the core gameplay? No
Would it affect YOUR gameplay? No
Would it unbalance PvP or PvE? Really now... no lol
You sound like the same sort of person who says "Go play WoW", while your free to say /nosigned, you need to get a valid reason.
Here's an idea? Lets remove dye, all armor styles, force everyone to wear the same plain colour armor, have the same face, hair and skin tone!
Your argument is silly, A.net already have impressed their interest in this idea.
I agree with all points of view, but no flat out rejection of any idea.

I have gotten a bit bored with the stupid buns my monk has on her head! I want to shave them off...or let them down...something new! Hair stylist to change style and color(fees for each) sounds like a great idea to me. Maybe even a skin treatment(tanner makes me think of leather, sorry) to darken or lighten the characters skin. Think the rest should be left alone though. No need to get taller or change your face if you can change the details, imo.

ANet please read this!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't agree more with this idea... even if it's just for hairstyles and it's the same options that are available during character creation -- of course, extra options would be welcomed.
It makes sense from a RP perspective:
*In RL people change their hairstyle/color all the time. I restarted my ranger after around 9 months (before I knew of birthday presents, and losing my 15k armor and customized weapons -- even though I recreated the character with the same name, sex, and profession
) just because I wasn't satisfied with the hairstyle I chose.
*You could change your character according to the path it follows -- for ex. a character starts off rather "normal" looking, but then becomes a necromancer and his/her skin turns sickly white or ashen black.
*You could change your hairstyle to something fancier (applies more to female characters I suppose) for special events/ocassions such as the summer of the dragon, Wintersday, weddings, etc.
And it would create a gold sink that would not affect gameplay/balance in any way what-so-ever!
