StandardAI, i thought about some things you said, and first of all:
to me, you are friggin smart. i like your clear view of things. you made me think and gave me an interesting view. in 30 seconds i understood how i will feel after playing 300 more hours. you got teh leet power of speech, man.
i think, one should be able to play around with all skills, in an appropriate amount of time. else you will miss the depth of the game.
while following these discussions, there is one thing i dont like: when we divide into "pvpers" and "pveers". i am tired now, so i will just move on to my suggestion.
unlock all skills (except elite) for the primary profession of the character you use when beating the game. just unlock it, dont give it to the pve char.
and then make a real kewl quest, only accesible after beating the game, with nice landscapes (oh and please could we just have ONE more dungeon, oh pleeease i neeed a dungeon), that would maybe unlock .... the rest of the skills. JUST UNLOCK them. not actually give em to your pve char. but i would be neat if a pve char could use them in pvp areas.
this way you could get your skills, and the pveplayertype has some new content. yay!
hey damnit i like that idea, or at least the core of it.
cookie, please
p.s.: the thingy with the bandwidth... oh damnit i play this game for 3 weeks only, and think about this problem since the 5th day or so. they dont get monthly fees..... we are all just bandwidth eaters....
