Are there any shields that give + on Energy?

Just curious on this one as I've yet to see a shield myself that gives a bonus to energy the energy pool.

I don't think shields give a +energy bonus. But then again, I've never really searched specifically for that

I believe there is a Runic Shield with the following stats available from a collector in the Eastern Frontier (exit from Frontier Gate):
+6 Armor (Req. 4 Tactics)
+5 Energy
Just head southeast towards the portal into Pockmark Flats, as he's about 1/3 of the way there.

Aren't there foci that have +armor? You could use one of those.

Perhaps toastgodsupreme has a warrior build with tactics skills that require a shield, like Defensive Stance.
Plus, foci don't look as menacing like a big-ass shield.

That's an interesting shield, I never knew that +energy one existed. It's a nice alternative to my flame artifact for my W/E. The sight of a warrior in full platemail skillfully swinging an impressive sword while clutching a small stick is a strange spectacle. I know this since I am that man.

I do have a +Energy shield, but as I progress through the game it has been becoming far less useful.

I'd rather the warrior with 16 armour and 5 energy.
And I can't believe the ranger only gets 10 armour off it with no boost to the energy gain - that's wimpy - if it were +10 armour with an extra bonus vs elemental maybe, but 6 AL less than a warrior gets with nothing else to make up for it? Especially as it is an off hand item on a class with a basically mandatory 2 handed item, so you're an odd Ranger if you ever get to use it. Wow, gimp me more!
