Gold and purple items sell for a few gold at merchants, maxium i had was 50g. Is there any other way, in game, to sell weapons for more cash appart from spamming the trade channel.

Is there black dye for sale?

Weapons themselves usually dont sell for a whole lot, unless its a 15-22 (req 8) 15% dmg while HP > 50% (Oooooooo how i'd love to have one of them).

I usually just exp salv it for the upgrade.

For a max damage weapon with 15% damage over 50% just get a collectors weapon in the desert, or just beyond. Don't pay gobs for them, they are super easy to get (most of them anyhow).

Its all about the cool looks. Thats why people will pay 600K+ for their fissure armor even though it offers no real benifit.

i agree, looks is important or the armor and weapons, but if the weapon is THAT uber then i can over-look it. I paid lets see, 60k for the base cost of 4 ele armor items and then hmmmmm, materials and black dye was like 6k back then so 20k there, i'd say almost 90k and with my new armor i bought the major vigor for then 10k as well, 100k total that night.

does the fissure sell the elemental "eyes" like the fire eye? does that look ANY diffrent? then i would just get the fissure eye.

Personally I would worry more about getting my Max Mods then weapons... As for black dye, and well all other dyes, just start a new toon and buy all the dye pre-searing. That is how I've stock piled all of my dye. Currently I have 7 black and anywhere from 10 to 20 of each of the others.

ID everything if you plan on selling it to merchant, price always goes up. Have had a couple of gold weapons that I have sold and they went between 200-300 gold at merchant. I could waste 10 minutes spamming trade for a few hundred more or I could just go out and kill some stuff and make up the extra plus get some exp. Choice is yours.
