I believe that would be either a blue, green, blue combo, or a blue, purple, blue combo, not sure, but the best thing is that blue, green and purple are pretty cheap now.

Dye Chart with 3 Dye Mixes including Dye Remover; no Black yet. Monk Armor Dyed with the Blue + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Green + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Orange + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Purple + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Red + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Silver + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Yellow + 2 Dye Mixes Monk Armor Dyed with the Dye Remover + 2 Dye Mixes Note: The order in which you combine the Dyes does not effect the outcome of the Color. Red+Blue will give you the same color as Blue+Red; and Blue+Orange+Green is the same is Blue+Green+Orange. I assume this to also be true for the 4 Dye mixes, but I have yet to test it. I hope to eventually add the Black Dye mixes, but they are kind of expensive so it will be some time before I have enough gold saved to buy all those Black Dyes. Can anyone tell me where the original posting for Ensign's chart is, or how he made it? I've been comparing the colors to screenshots of dyed armor (specifically, the monk's armor from here), and it seems to be the correct way of determining dye colors. I've been trying to extrapolate it to 3 and 4 colors, but it would help a lot if I knew how the original chart was made.
(EDIT) Glen, apparently Monk Fissure armor is one of those weird ones... according to this pic, the color you're looking for is orange.

Anybody know how to match the color of Drok's Plate armor? I'm trying to get my Ascalon pieces (currently dyed silver) to blend better. Thanks!

Hmm... so does that mean that fissure armor dyes the same way that it's Droknar's version does (if I remember correctly that's how normal ascetic armor dyes too)?

i take it u can't make a black chaos axe? >_>
*also it would be nice if GW had a Dye Mixer (like a crafter) so u can give him/her the dyes u want mixed and some gold (like 50gold) and he'll/she'll give u the possible combinations from the dyes u gave him/her

I believe I have found the formula for the highly-desired white dye for armor. Since this seems to be such a highly-desired dye, I am sharing my research (although the temptation to sell bottles for 10k apiece is strong )
Original screencap of dye
(Thanks to Archery Person Dude for showing his white dye and dyed armor)
15k Druid's dyed Silver
My 15k Druid's with a silver vest. On this armor it looks pretty good, but we can do better.
Druid's dyed Yellow+Silver
Silver+Yellow produces a white with a yellowish tint, or a very pale yellow, depending on how you look at it. And for those order nitpickers, it was silver dye on yellow bottle.
Druid's dyed Yellow+Silver+Silver
Adding a second silver makes the yellow even paler. (Silver on yellow, then another silver on the mix.)
Druid's dyed Yellow+Silver+Silver+Silver
Finally, adding a third silver gives pure white. Yes, I realize that I am standing in brighter light, I miscalculated how much dye I needed and had to move to the trader- I will try to get a more consistant comparison later on. Also, I know that ranger armor is not the best for experimenting with mixes on- I'll try it on other classes once I get the funds (this cost me only 3 plat, but I am a bit poor at the moment). Feel free to post your own pics if you try it.
So in short, Yellow + 3 silvers = white. Enjoy.
EDIT: Whoops, almost forgot. Thanks to Fezz's dye chart for providing assistance.

I have been trying to dye the Necro 15k body scars purple with no luck. No matter what colors/color combos I use the bikini top & bottom ALWAYS remain red. Now I know they can be dyed as I have seen them dyed black before. What is the dealio?

Dont u guys hate it when u dye a weapon or shield and cant see the difference ?
i really dont understand why one weapon can be dyed and the other cant.
for example....i dyed my flamberge black....and i see no difference when i wear it....its so annoying....i want guild wars to make all weapons and shields dyeable....dont u guys agree with me ?

Coolest armor set of all is the Crystalline:
Of course, you have to use buggy beta Nvidia drivers to get it.

Hah- I get that all the time when I minimize the game while a zone is loading.

Dumb question:
When you mean silver+silver+silver+dye remover do you mix all of them before hand and then apply or do you apply them all on the armor one by one and it gives you that color ?

Does anyone know the dye combination of a bright/dark pink color for 1.5k female necromancer fanatics?
I have tried some basic dye combinations: red+silver=red, red+silver+purple=dark purple and so on.
Thank you in advance.

Ok, I don't know if anyone here has asked this yet, but what happens when you apply silver to Necro scars? And what about black? It's not on the charts at the begining of the thread.

I have seen a lot of confusion on the boards about how dye works. I am pretty sure I have sorted it out from all the conflicting messages and also from in-game testing.
Here is a mini-FAQ about dyes:
Q: How do you mix dye?
A: You must double click a vial of dye and apply it to another vial of dye to get a new vial labelled "mixed." [HINT: Applying one color over another color on an item will NOT mix the colors, it just applies the new color as if there was no color already on the armor.]
Q: Does mixing dye with dye remover produce a different color?
A: No. If you mix dye remover with dye you will have a slightly transparent color, so you will see the original (undyed) color of the armor through the new color you applied. [HINT: That's why people think it makes a new color, but it depends on the original (undyed) color of the armor.]
Q: Does it matter what order I mix the dyes?
A: It does not matter what order you mix 2 dyes. However, if you want to mix more than 2 you need to know how the mix happens. Each time you mix dye, it treats it as 2 dyes and you get the result based on which 2 you mix. Therefore, if you mix Silver + Yellow, then add Orange, then add Silver again, it will not look the same as if you mix Silver + Yellow, then mix Orange + Silver, then put the two mixed dyes together.
Q: Why does the same formula produce a different color than I expected, or a different color on me than it does on my friend? [Armor only. Not including Chaos Axe, etc.]
A: The dye will look different depending on the material it is applied to. Imagine putting dye on cloth, silk, leather and metal. It will have a different appearance on each of these materials.
Q: Does it matter which color I double-click on and apply to the other?
A: From in-game testing, applying Yellow to Green or Green to Yellow looks exactly the same. (Lime Green) I have seen no evidence that using one color first has an effect except when mixing more than 2 dyes. (See question above)
I hope this helps everyone understand dyes. I like all the posted screenshots of experiments with colors on different armor types. It would be nice if some more experimentation was done to find other colors. There is no need to dye complete sets for experimentation, but try to pick something with a large dye-able area so the color is easily seen.
Thanks!

Something I've found, if you want to look diffrent but not spend money on dyes, use dye remover on your "stock" armor. It's already pre-painted.

I have updated my Chart to include all the 3 Dye mixes that use Black, they have also been put on armor.
The chart now covers all the 3 Dye mixes. Enjoy.
And for those who are to lazy to go find it in this thread, here is the link.

As for the other project you mentioned to me when we talked, I'd be happy to donate my pics, and I'd like to discuss it with you further if/when you get that rolling.
