Idiot Question

ive been seing lots of people selling max damge weapons in lions arch. I wanted to buy an hammer which a guy said was max damage and it was 19-35 damage. So is 35 the max damage of hammers? or wat. Since ive been playing not a lot i wondered if this is true. Plz dont flame im yust a noob....

yes 19-35 is max dmg for a hammer.

Max damages are as follows
Axes 6-28
Bows 15-28
Hammers 19-35
Staves/staff 11-22
Swords 15-22
Wands/rods 11-22

As much as I hate admitting it, I look at those max damages and the (recently retired) Diablo II player in me shakes my head...

How refreshing to find a game that brings the numbers back down to meaningful.

Sidebar... anyone else know Diablo players that won't play GW because the levels max at 20? So sad, so funny...

does the Truncheon count as a seperate weapon? or is it just the name of a staff....and subject to the 11-22 max dmg?

how much would one purple axe 6-25 damage be worth?

There are several folks who a veterans of many different games who don't play GW due to Level caps so its not just Diablo. Yes I know several but I also know several from EQ, DaOC, and other games that have a much higher level cap.
