I deleted my ranger with 15k armor, and had beaten the game to make room for my elementalist. I beat the game with him too and got bored, so I deleted him and made another ranger.
Such a waste of money.

I deleted my first character, an ele in full pyro 15k at RoF with ~150 hours on him because I needed to create a N/Me to have UAS.

Deleted my first Monk, Kool Pajamas (forum name is my tribute to him 
) , and my first warrior. I didnt like healing so I decided to try another profession and wiped him. The warrior I just didnt play much and I needed a pvp slot so poof he went. Now I have 2 accounts so I have one of every profession.

lvl 20 Ele game completed, 15k armor etc. 100+ hrs on it but the class is dull to play so she got the chop.
lvl 20 mesmer Same as the ele but got rid of her to make room for my necro
lvl 15 ranger played for about a week.. got bored so i deleted it.. only to make a new one which i still use now lol

I got bored with the game about a month back so i deleted everything and started again. I had 3 lvl 20 chars, all finished the game (one of them a 55 monk). I gave away a couple of my favourite items to random newbies in Ascalon, loaded all the rest and all my cash onto the chars and deleted them all.
It was great, scrimping and saving, weighing whether to save cash or upgrade armour, going through everything again as if i'd just made my first char. I'd recommend it if GW is starting to feel a bit stale.

I have deleted several level 20 characters... in the beginning it was just too much work to change a secondary and get enough exp for the skills... so I started fresh... I want to say I deleted about 10-12 level 20 characters (post Ascension)...
