I like playing support characters too, especially rangers and monks. Being a monk is fun when you learn to weed out the insults and face the fact that you can't keep every FDS-wielding suicide candidate alive. Rangers are pretty versatile and have during the past few months gotten the respect they deserve.
I like my mesmer too, but she's only at Northern Shiverpeaks now, so it's pretty hard to find a group, since all the missions and quests can be simply done with brute force. When playing with henchies I find being a mesmer is a bit boring.

come to think of it I really like my SS necro too. He's a damage dealing machine. I did the math on it earlier for another thread and I never realized how much damage SS can do over the course of it's duration.

Because I usually don't have much time to play, I only have 2 characters that I actually have to level 20: an ele and a monk. I love playing defense/support, so monk has to be my favorite so far, with warder ele coming close behind. I think I'm gonna love the ritualist, playing restoration magic and buffing my fellow players with weapon spells. It's like a supporter's dream come true!

I find this list hard, seeing that Necro takes up a high spot (SS Necro) and a very low spot (MM Necro). But tank is my favorite to play and Monk less favorite. Ele is nice, haven't played Mesmer and ranger (will get those when factions hit).

With time I like more and more professions. However, my starting necro remains my favorite character by a very large degree. However, anything with a lot of utility is fun. Lately I have gotten addicted to the rush of playing infuser in HoH. The common appearance of spike teams and the reflex position makes it a lot more fun then I expected.

Esp when you go UW with a necro and do the stuff a monk does ;p its awesome (don't ever say Eles can't farm)

I really like playing an Interrupt Ranger in both PvE and PvP. Pissing off casters can be fun!
For farming it is W/X or 55 Monk, depending on what needs farmed.

I either prefer solo'ing (100% on my own, no henchies) or Healing. For Healing, it's always Monk, for solo'ing, it's whatever is effective

Playing Mesmer is the most challenging experience in both PvE and PvP. If you don't know what you are doing, you will be useless and/or die quickly. All other professions at least can cause something even the player has no idea what to do.
So I prefer Mesmer.
