Razorstone, Customize or not?

I recently got a razorstone and i was wondering whether i should customize it or not. Seeing as razorstone IMO is the best axe in the game so far, and i wouldnt really have an axe better than it. So i was wondering whether or not i should customize it.

If you plan on keeping it, go right ahead. But if you think you'll eventually delete the toon you bought it for, you might want to reconsider customizing it.

The only time I would customize it would be for pvp really...In PvE, you can deal with it because warriors are farming (Glads D) or tanking in stances so its not required to have it customized for PvE.

Well you see, i heard from my guildie that a A/W uses axe and is pretty ownage at that, and that is my biggest concern because i think im probably going to create an assassin in factions and i dunno if it would be axe or not.

id suggest getting a collector 15^50 axe, customize that one and just use it when you wanna do more dmg. when you want looks, use your razorstone. then factions comes out, and you find out that you dont like a/w with an axe, then id customize the razorstone

I usually have 4 weapon sets for each character.. and any weapons I use I customize.... All depends on whether or not you plan on selling it... if its something u wanna have forever with that char then customize it.... with all the new weapon skins coming out with factions. I dunno if I'de want that axe as my primary weapon.... I wouldn't customize it till you play factions, you might wanna sell it to buy one from the new lands!

Not really, it has the coolest skin, yes. However, the mods are far from being "the best in the game." 15^50 is the best, but Furious is merely good, and +1/20% Axe Mastery is just about pointless. Basically, the Razorstone is a vanity weapon. If that's what you want, then go ahead and customize it. If you'd rather sell it later and buy a weapon that actually does have the best mods in the game, then don't customize.

I thought the one in Lornar's Pass was 15^50. Takes frozen shells, right at the end of the zone. It's been a while since I've been able to run lornars, so perhaps they changed the stats?

Even if there are no collector's 15^50 axes, you could buy a clean or sub-optimal 15^50 axe and just apply the mods you want to it. The axe itself would cost less than a Razorstone (assuming it's not a chaos axe or something highly sought-after) and in the end would be more powerful. Hence, the best thing the Razorstone has going for it is the skin, since it can't be upgraded like a normal weapon.

Furious is the best Mod for a weapon IMO, sundering just sucks and is way overpriced. but i do agree the +1 Axemastery is useless. Personally if you want it for looks then keep it but if youre definetley gonna use it then customize it.
