I'm wondering, why are you buying those Vials of Ink? :P Are they gonna get expensive in Factions or what :P BTW: I'm new on this forum

Ritualist will need Vial of Ink for the armor (Got time to get my full 1.5k Harbinger Armor). I just hopt to get in drop when Faction comes out.
For your Ecto, its your choice, maybe it will be useful later, sell them for money of use it for your FOW armor. But its your choice.

/Disclaimer *Personal Opinion*
I'd sell Ecto's before factions comes out. I'd imagine that the price would drop after people start playing in Cantha.

Yes rare items will once again be unaffordable to the masses. Thank goodness such items don't unbalance the game too much!

I'm stocking up on crafting components. In fact our entire guild is. People are gonna want the new armor and they will want materials for that new armor so we expect to see a spike in the material prices, not a huge one but a spike none the less. We'll make a quick buck and then splurge on ourselves.

I'm getting my warrior ready for factions. In his lovely jade coloured wyvern armor no less. As for items I already got a range of useful weapons and shields. So only weapons i'll be buying are clean max damage ones for the skins. I'm waiting till I have seen all the armors available before buying any.

I just sold a couple of my Sup Monk runes I had been holding and so far this it planned out...
In my storage I have 2 Belt Pouches and 4 Bags with Holding Runes applied. I have 100k in storage at the moment and 35k on my current monk. I plan on having 150k+ before the end of the month so I can leave 50k with my monk, and give 50k to each of the two new characters I plan on starting and said characters can start with full inventory capacity. The rest is pretty...whatever in regards to materials and such as they are easy to get.

I'm gathering gold, crafting materials, and weapons. Tombs farming is supplying most of my money, which I plan on spending 1/3 on crafting materials (optimally will have about 500k when factions comes out)

still no confirmation of rubies and sapphires. as for ink it was quite high ppl were buying them during the event from the trader, the trader price is a lil lower know, it'll stay the same og back to how it was during the preview event while the game is new.

On the other side fight your way through the left hand side passage to the statue of Grenth, the materials NPC for Ink crafting is there. There are others but that's the easiest one to get to.

but i cant imagine the price of gold katana +15% always -5enrdy req8....
edit: i'm farming skillpoints for my mesmer so i can get all new skills and change her 2ndry prof and get all skills i want - i dont have pvp chars so i'm unlocking all skills for my pve chars, thats quite easy
all my chars have 2-3+ mil exp but mesmer has less than 1,5mil exp and only 40-smth skillpoint for now plus i'm saving all iron/hides/cloth and such for new armors for my current chars and for new chars of cos... i guess i have to save some gold as well - got enough for skills and armors now but it never hurts to have a little extra....

I didn't want to say this but I figured many others allready figured this out. If ink ever rises in price but plants and glittering dust stay cheap there will be a big profit from making ink, so ink will never rise in price unless glitering dust and plant fibers do also.

That used to be my target. 500k + lots of materials by factions. I then soon beat that target.
750k saved up for Factions and i hope to get it to 1mill or close to it by factions.
I also have materials: 1500 bones, 2500 wood, 4000 dust, 1000 iron, 750 cloth, 250 vials of ink etc... but i have no hides or scales so i need to save some of them up still, and i think i dont have enough cloth.

Well, I achieved my main goal on Sunday: Amara is now Ascended and ready to go to Cantha. Now all I need to do is switch secondaries to Ranger, so I can get a pet Tiger. I'm easy to please!
I admire those who are "starting fresh." I'm just going to spend a day in Cantha with Amara, maybe seeing if I can find the 15k armor place. (even though I have less than 40k!)
Once the "head start" ends, I'll probably be focusing exclusively on my Ritualist / Ranger.
