Birthday Presents & Miniatures

I got one on my main character, but not on any others.

I didn't have to do anything to get it.

Does it have to be your first created character? If so i got screwd too cause i updated after finishing a mission and my inventory was full so no pet, yet my other chars who had room also did not get one.

Can we get someone from anet to actually say something about these?

is it for the character that is 12 months old or the account? cause i hope its account as i'm 11 months and my oldest character is about 8 or so since i deleted my very first character

My Necro is in Cantha, and my Warrior (mule) is in Lion's Arch. I didn't get one on my Mesmer or my newly-created Monk. The two that did probably have the most XP among my characters, if that makes a difference (1.2 mil XP on my necro, at 373h54m of 890h14m -- woo hoo!)

My question is: the description says "double-click to take out or put away." Are they one-time use or with a limited number of days we can use them? I'm scared to try them, and scared not to at the same time.

ok i saw someone in a previous post say /age must be 12 months. i guess ive got 2 hours or so to wait maybe?

I think its when your char is 12 months old, that or they just give it based on account age and give it to your first char made.

I think the account age is dependent on your characters. For example, I deleted my original character, who was created upon the release of Guild Wars last year (April 28). I didn't create my second character until a few weeks after. No presents anywhere.

The thing is, /age says I've only been playing for 11 months, so I think it may deduct time overall if you delete a character that was created before all others.

That or I have a few more hours left until it updates to 12 months

yea thats possible. i don't know i'm just hoping they don't punish me for deleting my char. its not my fault there were only four slots

i dont think account age subtracts time because im 300 hours short when i added up all my current characters of my overall time.

Did you finish the game? I mean all titan quests.
Do you have any special titels. Did you kneel before glint or whoever lately?

I got a Minature Temple Guardian... Seems to be permanent thus-far.

Ya I have one of those too and it hasn't gone away.

This could be it. Both characters to receive the presents were created on Day 1 after GW went live (I recently deleted the Ele that was also created at that time ).

are you guys /age 1 year too?

I have a Jungle Troll and a Jade Armor. Anyone with a Seige Turtle want to trade for one of those?

awww balls why cant they make it if your account is a year old, i had to delete my oldest character to make a monk for the guild
