Anet was warned by the community prior to the launch of Factions that there are some serious problems. Anet had the opportunity after the BWE to listen to constructive criticisms and save face. They apparently chose to do their own thing. It's their game, so I guess they will do what ever they want. Unfortunately their vision of what Guild Wars should be differs from my own. I have 2 copies of Prophecies that I played since the release of Guild Wars. I now have 2 copies of Factions. I still play the game, but I kinda feel let down and disappointed that Factions is not my style of play.
Guild Wars is not only a wounded deer, but also a proud deer. Sometimes they seem to be too proud to take directions or admit their mistakes.
