I'd have to say that you used to be able to. Without the Frost Gate trick I am no longer certain that you can. But please throw up your map for someone to check.

so I can't get 100% Tyrai anymore? cuz I finished all the quests and etc..but didn't unlock all the arenas (Ascalon Arena, Yaks Arena etc..) can't I do anything else to get 100%? I'm rdy to go in for the title, still got south shiverpeaks to explore.

for the third (and hopfully last) time i need to summon you, Wobrak. thanks to you, from 98.8 i got to 99.2 and now till 99.8. would you please do another map check for me? thanks again.
PS: i managed to go in rurik's path in "the frost gate mission" thanks to ice golems that killed ascalonian soldiers at the first bridge.
PPS: that part in riverside wasnt a loss of data. it was a big part to uncover. thx ^^

I only found four very small differences between our maps. Unfortunately one is in Lonar's Pass. I do find it odd that you don't have GMC. You have three arenas explored and I don't. If you still don't get GMC I highly suggest you use TCFish's high resolution maps and and do an area-by-area comparison to find what you are missing.

Grandmaster Cartographer is not for the lazy. Maybe you should try for a different title. If you decide you actually want to put forth the effort, then come back when you are at 95% or above and I'll be more than happy to assist you.

i did a map check (with bmp maps) with a friend GMC ingame and discovered plenty of places to uncover map. probably wobrak didnt notice because of the bad quality of the maps i sent.

I've been having problems copying in-game to many maps online that are 100% to compare. they don't line up in any resolution; (fullscreen or not). so I'm gonna just post my zoomed out map. I know where I have some map to explore; but there's prolly a few nookz n craniez left, so if there's anyone who can hook me up...
E: I just compared my map with someone else's on here; that seemed to help a lot too. (lol wtf S. Shiverpeaks)

Your map is too small (640x433) to give you an accurate comparison. Please retake your map screenshot using one of the following resolutions: 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 or 1600x1200. Then repost in this thread and use the attachment option to upload your map.

Access that spot from just outside the Sanctum Cay outpost. Walk the edges in the water and you will uncover that area.

I've tried revealing this little part next to Denravi, but I can't get a correct path to it... does anyone know how to reveal it? It's circled black next to Henge of Denravi in my screenshot.

I thought to explore that path, you needed to be in the city itself, so look close at the city... ( but i'm not sure..)

Yeha that bit drove me mad for a while. Go behind the collectors at Henge. Scrape behind the water there.

That area is probably explored. Sometimes while mapping only a small portion will be uncovered and if you aren't watching you will miss it being uncovered. Admael There's a path behind the large fountain which leads to the area you need, just to the left of Master Scout Kiera. Also, I see you still need to uncover a little more of the bonus area on Aurora Glade. Back past where the Demagogue is located. Wobrak

johanL heres a map for you. Check the red circled areas. Heres some of the biggest parts: 1. Tomb of primevil Kings outpost. 2. Ruins of Surmia: north west water area and where flamebearers spawn for bonus. 3. Sanctum Cay: Northwest part and east edge. Let us know when you get closer and someone can recheck. Edit: Damn it forgot attachment again.

Can someone link me to a 100% explored unlabelled Tyrian map at 1280x1024?
So does the Deldrimor War camp area take the place of the arena outposts in order to get 100% or did that get added to the 100% total? In other words if you could get 100% before they added that area, it should be easy to get 100% now because that is a fairly large area that was added or has Arenanet recalculate what 100% is taking into effect that "newer" area? Since the arenas has been closed in 2005 on the 11th of May it's become even harder to become Grandmaster Cartographer in Tyria though it wasn't easy before that neither. I've joined the community 7 months ago any my main character has 99,2%, I only know that I need the "behind evennia" trick in the Wilds and that I haven't fully explored the Dunes bonus area (these could be about 0,2-0,3) so still there are some parts missing I'd like you to please help me finishing this title.

Well, I think it's time that I finally ask for help. Been working on this for a while, but I can't find any more. I'm at 98.1%, and would like to post a map. However, I'm not sure what format is needed for someone to help me. Just tell me what to post, and I'll do it.

I have searched till i do not know where to look anymore. I have got allot of help from this thread and have made it to 98.4 but i just dont know where to look anymore. Will someone put a fresh set of eyes on this and see what i am missing.

I wanted to try to do this myself, and have been playing around with a trial version of Photoshop, but I just can't seem to get it so I see the little white bits. Could it be different cloud patterns or something? I'm at 98.7%, and would be so grateful if someone could take the time to do a quick layer trick at give me a summary of what I have to hit. If I see you in game I'll hoist an eggnog with you. Please help me, just this one time
