Well Allience it didn't have to be just factions... it could be anything GW related.
NEWEST AND BEST! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! OMG it is so nice not to run into anymore invisible walls! I don't know if it was a general fix or my account in general stopped with the stupidity but I am happy that I no longer trip of invisible objects! And now... I CAN PLAY! 1. An online game without monthly fees.
2. A fantasy game that doesn't look lke a Dungeons and Dragons knockoff.
3. The resource management style of play (builds, energy, etc).
4. A game with PvE and PvP that doesn't force them against each other.
5. A very strong visual appeal in the game, with this as one of the focal points of play.

Thankful for GWotN! It is very refreshing to see a lot of the GW roots brought back to life. There is so much in this to appreciate, it feels filling and whole, even though you can tell that it is just an expansion.
*bows* Thank you Anet for being able to bring some life back into the game for me. ( <---This isn't me speaking for everyone, but for me hell yeah! )

Thank You For:
- A return to the roots of GW, but with innovation
- Interesting new "headpieces" you can mix and match with any armour
- Funky weapons you can craft, not just rely on to drop
- The learning and growing of henchmen AND monsters
And mostly thank you for:
- ALWAYS having something to keep me interested

I'm grateful for every aspect of the game I don't rant about, obviously.
I have, with regards to GW1, only one or two problems of any substance. If I wasn't so fond of the rest of the game, I certainly wouldn't bother to complain about them. If Anet didn't have such a good track record of listening to user suggestions, I wouldn't bother posting about them. So yes, seriously, I'm grateful for the game, as a whole. All of it, and Anet's support of it to boot.

Ha, I do say a lot of negative things about GW.. so here goes my positives list, what I am thankful for.
-Awesome environments
-Cool armor sets
-Asuran, Norn, Destroyer, Vanguard weaponsmiths.. great, affordable skins!
-Mind Blast.. my favorite elite that always gets me kicked from teams because it "sucks".. seriously though.. great elite
-Amazing ammounts of build possibilities
-Alliance Battles.. great fun when you want some non-serious PvP
-Heros
-Great lore, story filled with funny references.
-The low level cap, seriously one of the reasons I love this game so much
-No forced grinding required
-Halloween, Wintersday and other in-game events.
-Minipets, always fun to have a small companion following you around
I could go on for a while...
So anyway, I do complain a lot but there is a reason I have x thousand of hours

Hmm...
-The following armor types for female chars: 15k Dragons for warriors, 15k canthan for els, 15K kurzick for mesmers, shing jea rit armor, Herta's armor, and whatever Jora is wearing.
-Exaulted Aegis shields
-Long swords (not the crafter skins)
-heroes in general
-low level cap
-ability to get through the game really quick if you know what you are doing and no forced grinding
-that it lasted this long
-that it's end is in sight (gw1 needs to end while we still like it)
-that the core gameplay system somehow manages to continue to work and stay fun.
-that I have an excuse not to play WoW
-that I don't have to pay every month for an online game
-that I have an alliance that isn't dead like my last guild was
-Jora's height
