Is still worth to create a character in Tyria?

Hi,

Basically i wanted to start a necromancer but I don't know if it is worth to start it in Tyria. Can I start in cantha and after finishing the "noob" island go to tyria do any quest that gives skills as rewards or are those unavailable to me ?

The quest that give skills as reward is the only reason I see to be worth to create a necro in Tyria but if I have access to them also even if I start in Cantha then I will do that.

If you have seperate accounts (not merged) then no, you can't go back to Tyria.

For merged accounts - I'm not sure about the "base" classes but apparently for the new classes you can not go back to Tyria and do the quests/missions before Lion's Arch.

Yea you cant do any quest before lion's arch if you are a Canthan born character, and the advantage Tyria has over Cantha is that you can get skills from quests. Canthans level up faster but have to buy all their skills so its kinda crappy.
