Hello, I was asking my self, if there is any change between the types of daggers.
Like bows, where longbow has more range but less fire rate, and the shortbow has more fire rate but less range etc.
Is it like this with daggers ?
If it is, some information can be useful

And for another question, I was planning on getting a max dmg dagger, 15^50, with +30 hp and Zealous. I found two green daggers with these stats, the Ceremonial Daggers and the Everthorn's Chakrams.
The only diffrence I found between them is that the Ceremonial have "Piercing dmg" and the Everthorn's Chakrams have "Slashing dmg".
Is there any diffrence between Slashing dmg and Piercing dmg ?

Thanks in advance, Infinate.

Some armors protect against piercing, but not slashing, beyond that, no difference that I'm aware of.

Yep, just different damage types. Assassins are the only ones that I know of that can get slashing resist armor. Assassins and Necros can both get piercing resist armor.

Go with the slashing damage as there are more things which protect against piercing damage, the armours which were mentioned above and the "Shields Up!" shout which gives 50 armour Vs piercing.

But I dont think there is a single person out there who carries shields up with the intention of using it in melee. So maybe just by which ever one is cheaper.
