Found the last 0.5%.

0.2%, down the side of Vizunah Square (mission). 0.2%, down the side of Sunjuing Explorable. The last 0.1% was partly at the bottom of Sunjuing Explorable and at the very back of the Fort Aspenwood mission.

Yay. 4/5 Kind Of A Big Deal.

I just went and spammed in a couple cities that the mission was bugged and giving out 10x faction. 10-15 mins later that place had tons of people in it. Hey! Im on 99.3% in Cantha and im tyrian (with 100% in tyria).

Im needing some advice on how to get Shiro to purposely bannish me into the upper section of the mission that you kill him. Its the only bit I think I need.

Any ideas?

Ive tried going solo and taking henches, but he hardly seems to ever banish me.

if you go alone, he wont banish you - that would be unfair. If you go with hench, same applies - he will only banish the hench. Go with players, I always find if you run in first, you get banished

Poison Ivy - That piture is far too big to be direct on a fourm. Try to just post the link to the image. However the image is also far too small for us to see any detail whatsoever of your map. Can you make it a lot bigger? so all the detail is easy to see?

he is referring to the same thing what Dougal K. does in the tyrian 100% topic on this forum. he analyizes the maps through those Poison Ivy posted. i always wondered why nobody did that with the maps we already have, but meh. ^^

I read probably 80% of these forums, and couldnt see my question answered so I posted this.
Both Questions are related to Shenzun Tunnels.

First: How do I uncover this area.
Second: How do I get to this location, and clear it.

Now if I uploaded the pictures correctly, this should make sense.
( See Pictures, First of the two represents it with fog, Last one without, cleared.)

If anyone knows how to uncover these locations please let me know, I'm at 98.8% and was hoping these would get me my 100%

Lots of people seem to have problems with that Shenzun area. You get it from the Undercity. Edgewalk around there and it will uncover.

It's hard to really catch everything said in this extensive thread, but I have noticed Shyft's lengthy posts with very informative, and successful results.

So I was wondering what it would take to see if you could help me on the last few % of my goal for 100%? Shall I just post a full map, or...?

Hi guys, I've been following this thread and the advice within for the past week or so, and I've managed to get to 99.5%, but now I seem to be stuck. Maybe I'm going crazy from Alt-Tabbing between maps too much, but sometimes I think it looks like I've uncovered some spots that some of the posted 100 maps haven't...but I'm not there yet

. I could be crazy though. Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys could take a look at my maps and give me a couple of pointers as to where to look for the extra .5.

It's entirely possible that you have spots that aren't currently on my 100% map. I haven't had the chance to update it in a good month, and since then have filled in a number of tiny little areas. I'd normally help you with identifying the spots you're missing, but don't have access to a reasonable computer for at least another week (1.2 celeron, 256mb FTL) and any sort of large graphic makes it die.

If you're still stuck at that point, I'll be happy to check it out. Shyft's eyes are as good as mine though, and he may get to you before that time if he's feeling good-willed

ive been going for this for about a week now, i went from 97.9 to 99.8 (more like 99.89) and im all tapped out, i know i have more but im all burnt out and i can see squat, and i suck at taking pictures.

Thanks to the person who posted the dragons throat area, that got me where i am now.

Even if you take "clean" screenshots of the zoomed-in overview map by holding SHIFT to eliminate outpost markers, you will still have to deal with cloud cover. Take screenshots of your "U" window instead so that the entire area is cloudless and perfectly illuminated. Your "echovald4" image is refusing to load for me. My guess is that the easiest spot for you to pick up a high % is the very last one.

My hat's off to you mate, I applaud all the help you've provided for people here. Thank you, but all my input - as well as my own Canthan Grandmaster Cartographer title - are due to Leighwyn's excellent map and ALT+TAB comparison method. Without them I'd still be walking the edges of zones, something I loved to do in Tyria but loathe in Factions.

Instead of posting a full map, take several screenshots of your "U" window stretched as wide as possible. If you don't have the capability to stitch them together into a single map, don't bother. Just post them in this thread and I'll see what I can spot

Thanks I don't know how to uncover the NW corner of Shenzun Tunnels simply because I didn't pay attention to the spot until I started comparing my map to Leighwyn's. And at that point, I already had the spot uncovered.

The second one I do know: it's the west wall of Sunjiang District. Nothing about that area is easy, but you should be able to get to it by heading west out of Zin Ku Corridor and hugging the north wall. Make sure to bring a rez and watch the partols carefully.

Neither of these spots will be enough to max you out, however. Check the edges of other zones for other spots you may have missed, and post screenshots of your "U" window if you can't find anything on your own.

In Cantha, the uncovered areas blend too closely with the fog to allow for that comparison method, as it has been already stated somewhere on this thread (correct me if I am wrong, but I don't have the time to dig it up). As a result, what you need to do is compare Leighwyn's map to your "U" window instead of the map itself, or take screenshots of your "U" window and post them here if you want someone else to do it for you.

Ive tried going solo and taking henches, but he hardly seems to ever banish me Shiro will not banish you when you're alone or with henchies. What you should do is get a "banishment buddy," someone who also needs to unlock the map or who will tag along to help you, and try to get banished that way.

The procedure has been described multiple times in this thread already, but it seems to be the basic consensus that Shiro banishes targets with less health first. Make sure to know the health of your "banishment buddy" and raise/lower yours or theirs with runes as needed.

My Tyrian is stuck at 99.0 %. I have been to the training area during the Dragon Festival, the Local Quarter and the low level PVP arena town not in arena. I have ALT tab until the my TAB key is worn out. I can not find this last 1%. I would rather not post my maps, a hard way kind of guy, any hints on area’s I might of missed?

myster grimm, places that got me to 99.9 are:

-slowly walking back into dragons throat will get you some
-boreas seabed, north and south eluded me for the longest time, just walking around the outpost will get it
-entering the area next to maatu keep through the sunjiang district
-a lot of people have problems with shiros banishment area but that was one of the things i did when i beat the game without even thinking about it.

-and walking the edge of every explorable will probably get you a fraction of a fraction of a percentage each time.

Im stuck at 99.9 right now, but im sure if i find an explorable that i overlooked that i will find it

Well, I'd like to give out a big thanks to Shyft for all the work he's done helping us aspiring explorers reach the pinnacle of...well...exploring. I got to 100% while retracing the west coast of Kinya. Then to celebrate, a lesser Oni popped out and I nuked him into the ground. Again, thanks to Shyft and everyone here!

i tried to uncover this bit from Sunanj District and Pongmei Valley and cant figure out where to get it. Can anyone help? I've compaired it to a 100% map and it appears doable. thanks!
