100% Canthan Map Discussion and Help

Hey, Been exploring a little and I now have 99.2% of Cantha explored but I cannot seem to find the last .8%. I am pretty sure that I have got every thing on Shing Jea island. I explored the boardwalk and the eredon terrace glitch. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Because you explored the glitch, it means you have only 98.7% based on the normal relative zero point. I.E. you have a lot of easy spots to be finding using some tasty alt-tabbing.

Well, jtchans, right off the bat it looks like you can clear up the piers on the north side of Jaya Bluffs a little more. Also, have you traveled to the arena on the starter island? Granted, you may not enter the arena itself, but you can map the staging area.

Also, maybe a little in the Southwest corner of Nahpui Quarter explorable. One place that is hard to tell from your screenshot is the area immediately West of Maatu Keep.

I'm 99,2% and I have no idea where to find the remaining 0,8%. I compared my map with one of a friend who reached Grandmaster rank but don't see differences.

If there's someone who can help me pls take a look at my map.

Hi, ive recently been trying to get my grand master cartography title and right now im a bit stuck. so far i have 96.7 and i dont know if im missing a spot or not so if you could point it out i would appreciate it! im sure i need to do jade quarry and ive been banished by shiro.

I've never examined a single persons map who had everything in Shing Jea uncovered, it's actually one of the hardest areas to fully uncover IMO. Jade Sea being the easiest.

That's probably .1% and another .2% ( hopefully ) is in Jade Quarry... I forgot behind the guards. Part of that area has to be hit from the water below it. You do this by heading from the beach just south of the circle you marked. Go into the water and walk very slowly, stopping every few steps and facing the area you want cleared.

For the north section you need to go out and beat the Ritualist snake boss and all the other snakes on the island right above it. Once this is done, you have to scrap all the edges extremely. There is one little pixel that juts out towards this spot just a little more than everywhere else, and that one little spot is what clears it. Don't think that going straight to the spot that seems closest will do the trick either, it doesn't work like that. You have to find every nook and cranny you possibly can and hit them all until it clears.

Just a note. Running does not equate to good mapping. If you run through the areas you are mapping, you are guaranteed to miss a lot of what you need to get.

Hello!!
I have now been used a lots of hours to reach the Cantha grand master cartographer.. 100% explored..
I have used livongstons guide a lot to compare my map with a 100% to see random missed spots. Also i used the glich with return in edurance terrance, and sainkt a shrine.. also the necrotic travel in raisu palace..
I was stuck on 99,5% but i went the whole map though again with wallhuggin.. But no only end up with 99,6.. (I know i miss 0,1-0,2% in the jade quary, but realy cant get in there at any time..
If a realy nice person would help im looking my map to see some more spots i would be very pleased.. So here they are:

I also wanna donate 10k pr. 0,1% i get out of this to the one who help me find the spots.. (realy wanna get this title) MEAN I MISS 0,4% = 40k

I'm at 97.8% right now, and I know there's a couple areas I could easily skirt. I'm missing three huge things, though, and I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out a solution. I know they'd put me over the top - here goes!

1 - The Eredon Terrace hidden area. This'd add a solid chunk of 0.4-0.5% from what I've heard. Only problem is, I can't seem to pull off the henchie-teleport trick. If anyone's a part of the alliance that owns the place, I'll happily donate 5k faction in exchange for using the Terrace!

2 - Welcome to Cantha. The Foreign Quarter, I can't reach yet, since I'm having a really hard time finding anyone with the quest that leads to it.

3 - Jade Quarry. I know I could gain 0.6-0.7% in this place, but NOBODY ever plays Jade Quarry anymore - it's just a neverending "No opposing team joined. Restarting countdown timer." Help. D:

If you have any advice or way to help me out with this, it'd be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! :3

I'm fairly confident I got all of Shing Jea Island. I'm also aware that the part were Shiro banishes you can be explored a bit more - still working on that...
No need to mention Jade Quarry + Fort Aspenwood, I've posted in the other thread for that

I've also seen a map on this board were the most Southern-East part of Raisu Palace was uncovered but I've no idea how to get there...

The henchie-teleport trick doesn't work anymore... but you don't need it to finish the Cartographer title.

That I'm aware you can't get to Foreign Quater if you are a native Canthan.

I do have it on several good sources, though, that accompanying a character on the quest "Welcome to Cantha" can get you right in.

... Just found out I didn't do a thouroughly job in Kurzick area. Re-did the Southern part of Melandru's Hope which got me to 99% now...
EDIT: k, found another 0.1% in the water at Bazzr Icewing (or something...) + a very small part at the burned-out home of Am Fah

Hi all I'm stuck at 99.5% now after having looked at all the hints and tips here. If anyone could look at my map it would be greatly appreciated. I have found the Canthan one to be the hardest of all three of the lands so far. Cheers in advance. BTW pic is 1024x768.

Im at 99.7% and have stared for hours at the computer screen switching back and forth between my map and complete ones...and I have no clue what im missing. I know that i dont have the 3 areas in imperial sanctum but i cant figure out how to get shiro to teleport me there.

If any one could look over my map and tell me what im missing I would really apreciate it, or if you know how to get shiro to teleport you to the three other areas. Thnx in advance

Gah, I'm at 94%, and it's becoming really hard to tell where I need to explore. I know I need the part of Shing Jea closed off to Tyrians, Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood, but I have no idea where else I can look
