100% Canthan Map Discussion and Help

Firstly a thanks to all who made the "A Guide to..........." you guys are awesome!
I'm currently at 99.9%. I know damn well which areas I need - banishing by Shiro/ a tiny bit in the Unwaking Waters mish (kurz).
What would be lovely though is if some wonderful person from the alliance that owns Eredon Terrace would invite me behind there?? Lol, yes I know it's lazy, but rather that than having to face numbnutz again!!

Im wondering if I should map cantha or not, because I didnt get the festival event/boardwalk portion of the map? Will I still be able to get 100%?

Well Ghost Knight, I'd say "yes".
I got my 100% without fully mapping the area that Shiro banishes ya to, and a "commonly missed" area on the Unwaking Waters mission (Kurz). My warrior is Tyrian btw.
I did get the boardwalk area, and perhaps I'm wrong but I think that possibly the area that Shiro banishes you to and the festival/arena/boardwalk area could cancel each other out??

Dear Forum Readers!
I'd like to ask you for a map comparison to reveal the remaining 3,4% I still need for the Canthan GMC. I know that I'm missing the Jade Quarry but I think that's all I know about. Thanks a lot in advance!
PS: the map is at 1280x1024 resolution
PSS: Now I'm at 98,7: checked vizunah square (and got to local's outpost), checked fort aspenwood, explored the glitch beneath eredon terrace, explored a bit in Naphui quarters, a little bit also unfogged in sunjiang district and xaquang skyway, and in shenzun tunnels as well. I still need most of the Jade Quarry which i wasnt able to explore from the two outposts, updated map is uploaded.

I have a really dumb problem. I need to get into Vizunah Square (LOCAL quarter). Ive tried going thru the Undercity and to the entrance of Viz Square, but the entrance was blocked. I tried getting the Mayhem in the Market quest, but i guess prophecies chars cant get it... theres gotta be some easy way to get in.

You've to be in a party of a Canthan-born character who has the Mayhem in the Market quest equipped and with him/her you can enter the Local Quarter

Ok... how do u take a screenshot of your entire map, but MUCH bigger. I can easily zoom out and take a screenshot, or zoom in and take get a portion of my map... but how do i get my full map, but with the "zoomed in" size?

How do you go to the small portion at the upper left corner of the Unwaking water (kurz)? Also, when a group conquers a town, u cant access the back part of that town, will it be included in your mapping of cantha? Can you get 100% without these?

Actually I guess you probably can get 100% but in the Eredon Terrace's exclusive area using a glitch you can explore about 0.4% and the only thing I had to do is asking a guy standing in the area to invite me till I explore. Thx for that invitation ^^ :-) And Good Luck getting your title.

Just got a question about 2 areas...
#1: Imperial Palace (Shiro's banishing)- Basically ive wall-hugged the hell out of the place where Shrio banishes you. And I still cant get the area fully explored? Im pretty sure Shiro doesnt banish u somewhere else.. but i dont know how else to get the area. Im missing a bit of the top part in the banish area. I would upload my map but unfortunatly my uploading source is under maintainence.
#2: Raisu Palace- I hear there is an area where you can use Necrotic Traversal and teleport somewhere for a few extra %. What exactly is this? Ive tried to figure it out but i havent had any luck. A map would be perfect, if i could just get the location marked on there. I mustve died 20 times trying to figure it out.

Nice service, but it's too pricy, for me.
So if someone could post his or her zoomed out map, BEFORE (immediatly after you press M) starts moving, I'd greatly appreciate it. Since the other maps that have been posted were too foggy.

1 obvious spot is the newbie area arena, that was what got my last little bit.

The first spot is found by going to the Luxon section of Fort Aspenwood and replaying the mission cinematic.The first spot in the second picture is achieved by being banished by Shiro.
The second spot is described above.
For the third spot, the part on the right is called the monastery overlook, and you have to get this at the very beginning of the game in the tutorial for Canthans. If you are not Canthan then you will not have access to this area, but you do not need it to get 100%. There are also certain events like the Dragon Festival (and possibly Canthan New Year) that will open this area to non-Canthans.
The part on the left is uncovered from Shing Jea Monastery by hugging a corner right behind the storage area.

See the "t" after "php?" I believe that's the tag for thread. If there's a "p" instead I believe that is the tag for page, which you have used for your link as well. I think with that one, as soon as the thread changes pages, then it will brake the link. So yours works atm, because it is new, but once it changes page position, it probably will be a dead link to.

Hey all who are donig the cartograhper title!
I started cartographer in cantha recently, and for my guildies i made the following video tutorial on how to use the difference method explained on the first page of this thread, so if anyone doesnt get the walkthrough maybe this will help
The program i used is Fireworks 4 from macromedia, but im absolutely certain that The Gimp (free) can do the same thing, so just give it a quick download
